Well folks, as you may have guessed, we were hacked again by that huge asshole freemancrying. Only someone that stupid would think that doing this is going to actually help their cause.

Anyway, I apologize for the email that went out with those photos. As soon as I finish here I will be deleting them from the gallery. That was the hacker's work as well.

All the admin accounts were deleted, though I am looking into getting them back. I haven't been able to see yet if anything else was lost - I wanted to get you all informed about what was going on first.

Anyway, I'm sorry again for the inconvenience and for any emotional distress this caused. I hpoe things will be back to normal soon.

Ok um...how come alot of people are 'deleted users'? for all I know I am one 2. I got a PM from you about something with 'gallery' in the URL. The link didn't work, neither did my reply. For all I know I;m a deleted user too. oh well, didn't know anything about the pictures. just glad Buffy Boards is back!
 
I don't know who got deleted, but I think the number of only little over a thousand members is surely incorrect.
 
HOLY! THATS GOTTA SUCK! I guess it was just you mods who sent me messages who got deleted. Is there no way to find the guy? I know its possible to get the addres of the computer used, you just have to know how or know the right people...
 
1708 members - that's right I think. Otherwise it would show people's username and then 'Guest' underneath if they had been deleted.

I have reported the person to the proper authorities giving the information that I have.
 
Wow...I don't know anything about the pictures, but I got an e-mail about something yesterday with something about the gallery, so I have to assume that it's what you guys are talking about...this is a very annoying sitch.
 
What were those pictures anyway, I didn't trust it so I didn't look at it, anyone else seen them?
 
The pic i saw was a guy holding a little dead kid. I think it said in iraq (?). People who do that are soooo pathetic. We just gotta do what Buffy would do...kick their ass 😉
 
so why does he pick on the BB.. we are just a bunch of buffy/angel fans.. we didn't start the iraq war or the war on afganistan...

in my mind right now i'm slapping that fat jerk!! LOL

The thing is - that is absolutely the last way you want to go about protesting something. You want to make people feel sorry for you - not make them pissed off so that they want to wipe you off the planet. Cause it's not like hacking websites is going to make the government change their policy - so working on this small scale they need to be convincing individuals that they are right.

I know who is he generally - this guys that hacks lots of sites using the same handle. I know his IP and host, and (though it means little) his email. He uses a host out of either Syria or Lebanon.

Exactly!! Maybe if he'd joined the site and made a thread with links to websites about how his people had been treated badly or something then he would have been more successful. What has he acheived from hacking us? Well he pissed us off, and caused you some trouble, but he hasn't exactly changed the world. Jeeez what a moron! Aren't we even more likely to be against his cause now? *hits himself at the stupidity of it all!!*
 
Hmm thankfully when I clicked on the link I got in the email things were looking fine, I just got the actually gallery with normally Buffy related pics.....I did wonder why 'Buffy' was using kewl talk in the email. As thats not her at all.

So yeah pick on a Buffy site, because we are a bunch of nasty people who were personally involved in the recent conflicts, Buffy's bad and promotes violence...see i'm being good and not using bad language 😀

The main thing is we are back, we still have all the posts and the boards weren't down for too long. And at least we had the chat room to keep us going until the boards returned 🙂
 
So that was why the site was down? Damn that %@#*er!!!!!! I lost a few days of checking out what was going on. He suxs. Right now i am killing him in my mind. He should be kicked off the internet if he is going to do that all the time.
