Still a Buffy fan 10 years from now?

I'm not known for changing my mind when it comes these things so I'm pretty sure I will still like the show even after 10 years.

Not sure if I will still watch it regulary though. Can imagine having lots of other new and old shows to watch by then.
Even less sure I will be active on a Buffy forum like this. That has more to do with the forum than the show though...

I am really unsure about me. Some things I think are forever, like Twilight, then a year or so later I want nothing to do with it. Other things, such as Winx Club, are REALLY forever. I've been a winx fan going on eight years.

I think Buffy will last a long time, though. A lot of times I stop fangirling on something simply because people make it seem so stupid and trivial. Buffy isn't like that, especially here. Twilight WAS. Winx is to a point, but not if you know who to talk with.

So I think I'll be a Buffy fan still at age 27. And a Spuffy. Spuffy never dies. 🙂

I will be a Buffy fan untill I die. This show helped me through some tough times. I really don't know who I would be or what else I would have done to myself I had not started watching.
 
Been a hardcore Buffy fan for 8 years now. I didn't watch it when it came on originally, I went out of my way to get DVDs and watch it over and over again. I'll ALWAYS be a Buffy fan. Some things never change.
 
I will be a Buffy fan forever. Or at least for a LONG time. I haven't fallen this hard for a show, ever. Not to the extent where I'm posting nearly daily on a forum dedicated to it, addicted to fic and meta and all kinds of fandom goodness. Buffy's helped me in my own life, and I really connected to the characters in ways I'd never anticipated. I don't think I can easily forget that.
 
I will never ever pack Buffy away, it's dug a hole and planted itself inside my heart. As time goes by my love for it only grows and intensifies, that is one thing that will not change.

I started watching the show about 8 or 9 years ago, it was a huge part of my childhood and has followed me into my adult life, still to this day I'm not tired of it.

The only thing that's hard for me is trying to stay away from the show, long enough so that when I re-watch it everything feels some what fresh. Lol!
 
Once I develop a fondness for something, I rarely forget it completely. I am likely to keep a soft spot for BtVS for ever, but the fondness is unlikely to present itself in the same way all the time. Life changes. People change.
 
Well, I've been a "Star Trek" fan for the last 40 years, so it's a pretty good bet that I'll still be a "Buffy" fan long after Buffy and Spike's grandchildren graduate from college.
 
I'm 13 now. In september 2009, my dad showed me Buffy, and we watched one episode every single day. When Angel got his own show at the start of season 4, we did one night buffy and one night angel. we finished last year in march. I will always love buffy the vampire slayer and angel until the day i die. When i'm stressed out at school, or about something, i always think of buffy. my mum thinks that i'm way too into it and that it's becoming my religion. it's so hard at school because none of my friends know it. some of them have heard of it but think it sounds lame. luckily, i've managed to show the light to a few of my friends, and they love it. i wish that one day i'll meet a guy who is my age and also loves buffy and angel, but seeing as i'm not a part of the buffy generation i doubt that will ever happen. 🙁 buffy has been so important to me, and i don't know what i'd do without it. what my dad always used to do when we were watching it was tell me when a character was going to die, and i had to write down the characters in the order of likelyhood of death. it was so fun! i never got it right though!
what would i give, to be my age 10 years ago......

Don't worry, I'm a member of the "Buffy generation" and most people I know who are my age don't feel the same way I do. The cool thing is that every generation can be a btvs generation now!
I'm pretty sure I will always be a fan and continue to watch the show. I go through phases of watching a lot, or not watching for a while. In the short-term I hope to convert some friends to the show and watch with them. In the longer-term I look forward to one day sharing the show with my child/children!
 
I think I'll still be a fan, I started being a fan when I still thought of Buffy as Kristy Swanson. Here I am 20 years later still a huge fan, only now it seems a little geekier(no offense guys). I remember being so upset that Kristy wasn't going to be Buffy on the show. It took some getting used to but by the middle of S1 I was hooked on SMG. I think for some of us BtVS is something that defines a large chunk of our lives. I would be thoroughly upset with myself if I ever forgot how much watching(and reading) helped me.
