Because of the coming comic season of Buffy, and constantly rumored Angel developments, whether they can be addressed or not I thought it would be cool to take a poll of the stories you want resolved or explored in some way. I've tried to name the big stories and issues I could think of... hope I didn't forget something ::huh1::

I'd want the shanshu to be resolved and the battle outcome, cos i'd like to see the looks on the SG's faces when they hear what the AI team have been up to and that they did it without their help, just think that would be histerically funny....

Oh and did i say i wanted the shanshu to be resolved?
I don't buy that incomprehensible crap about signing it away.He just wrote his nickname on it, and his real name was Liam, plus IF it is his destiny, a mere signature can't take that away, it is a concious desision not to go down the road that would fullfill it that would.So come on Joss, write something that would convinse us!

We gotta see what happens with that big battle. Also, Buffy needs to choose Angel as her true love. And then Willow should dump Kennedy, Tara needs to come back from the dead and Tara and Willow will live happily ever after.

Lol... The Tara part is kind of impossible, but who knows... I totally agree on the Bangel thing ;).
i voted info on the Shanshu and the aftermath of NFA.

the Angel/Buffy/Spike thing has been done to death by us fans...the last thing i want is for Joss and co to start debating it again, especially concidering neither Spike nor Angel will be in the comics very much, so i don't see the point...maybe a passing mention by Buffy that she really, truely did love Spike, and then move on.

the Shanshu thing was never covered. 'The vampire with a soul, once he has fulfilled his destiny, will become human.' after all those battles he has to face, and everything else. i'm not convinced that Angel really signed it away, but i'm not convinced he's the one who deserves it either. maybe i'm biased, Spike being my fave character and all, but i believe that Spike is the better vampire. Angel was cursed with his soul for killing the gypsy girl, so the only other options for him was to live in a sewer and eat rats, or start helping humanity against evil. Spike choose to have his soul returned, to be a better man. he choose to help fight evil before he got his soul back. yes, the chip sorta pushed him in that direction, but, like Angel, he could have said no and continued living his life the way he was pre Restless...trying his best to get everyone else to kill the gang, while he stood back and gloated.

I also want some kind of Shanshu resolution.. and yeah I don't think Angel signed it away, we shouldn't believe everything an evil secret society tells us. Whether Spike deserves it more is up for debate (sometimes a little too much 😛 ). I like Spike and Angel... even though Angel turned into a cranky ass for a while and Spike went through that whole lets make Buffy dark like me and try to rape her phase. I'm not convinced that Spike went to get his soul for a greater purpose in order to save humanity etc... seemed to me it was in response to his disfunctional relationship with Buffy, yeah he fought demons and showed signs of good before (very early) and after his chip.. but it appeared like his motivations were Buffy.
The episode 'Soul Purpose' makes me cry when Angel walks away down the hall as Spike gets turned human.. and the music from 'I Will Remember You' plays :cry:
 
Good point about the whole Spike thing...I guess it's all up to the individual fan. The whole Buffy, Angel, Spike thing HAS been done to death...but I have to agree with Lyri. That's what's in my heart about Spike's character. And I wish he was the true champion. 🙂
 
lol if i vote i'd vote all of it... and of course i'd want Buffy to choose angel but yeah all of it 😀 and make it so Willow breaks up with kennedy cause i hate their relationship lol but thats just me i'm needy
 
Kennedy needs some aggression therapy or something, lol. She was cool in eps like 'Show Time', but then they made her all opiniony.
Is there anyway Spike and Angel could both be meant to Shanshu without it being corny? I hope so.
 
I would like to see them all answered, in order of importance to me:

1. Willow and Kennedy
2. Triangle
3. Sanshu
4. Battle
 
Willow and Kennedy? There is nothing to sort out there.
They are a couple.
I don't like Kennedy BUT as the show ended there was nothing left of them.
Personally, I feel Willows story has ended. She has been on a very long journey and now its time for her to leave the Buffy verse and go it alone(with Kennedy if needs be).

What I want is something done about Dawn. I don't care what plans are being made, i've thougt since season 6 that there should be something done to deal with the ancient power running through Dawn.
I never bought that it was over when Glory died.

Shanshu. I don't need any resolution to that. On the contrary, I think I can sleep at night if its left as it is. SHOULD Angel get something in the future, yeah sure deal with Shanshu, say it can't be 'signed away' but I don't need it.

NFA, well I actually don't want to know what happened from Joss. I think in this case its far more personal if each of us has our own beliefs.
I believe that Angel and the gang made it out alive, I like to believe that there was a reason all those people over the years were saved by Angel thanks to the PTB's.
I like to think THEY became an Army that found its way to the Hyperion and helped Angel.

Angel/Buffy/Spike... just think people need to get over it.
 
Buffy should finally say that she is still in love with Angel... But for that to happen, the Shanshu issue should be solved. I didn't buy the signature thing either.

Oh, and Kennedy should be murdered by some evil puppet.

Its not that I don't buy it. I can live with it. I don't need it resolved because it had a plausible ending anyway.
If they did more Angel and said that Shanshu would never happen because he signed, then I wouldn't miss it.
I would also watch if they DID keep it. My point is, I don't care either way.
Its not a topic that, in my opinion, needs to be solved specifically.
 
I :love2: all the main characters.. well not all the time, but mostly. I want to know what happens to each of them, I can see your point about Willow's arc and character development .. because she did reach that ultimate white magic/love life resolved thing, but I'm still a fan and would love more Willow story.

Shanshu and the battle are my big ???, too.
Same here Mr P, also i love BoTD's version of the shanshu, Angel choosing for himself what he wants, So if people want to read "Old friends" it is there.

Spike/Buffy/Angel triangle-Boring! LEAVE it alone!

As for Spike deserving the shanshu well
1) the powers picked Angel, Whistler sought him out, on their behalf,
2)Angel was drawn to the scroll, in TSIL.A
3) Doyle. He was sent to Angel by the powers to help the helpless, with his visions as a guide. Like he said "you got potential".
Spike , i hope he gets some kind of reward, he does deserve some recognition, for his deeds too!
Oh and the shows all about Angel not Spike lol........
And i'm also with Mr P on the battle thing...
 
Just thought I'd post this quote from an interview with Joss about Buffy Season 8 which has probably been posted, but I noticed this (not spoilery seing as though the Buffy comic is about Buffy stories):

Spike and Angel will appear in the comic but as their characters are owned by another company, Whedon says he will be using them sparingly. He also went on to say that we won’t get to find out how they managed to survive the onslaught of demons that they were facing in the final moments of the ‘Angel’ series, saying, ’’That’s a story for another time, another place.’’

So at least it gives me hope that Not Fade Away Question will be answered (eventually somehow) in another way.
