Strange buffy theories?

Wolf, you are right in what you are saying. The Turok Han are a different species of demon to the regular vampires and are naturally more powerful.

The question here though is why was the first Turok Han we saw in Bring on the Night and Showtime so much more powerful than the rest of it's kind seen in Chosen. It took nearly everything Buffy had to defeat the first one yet the others were dispatched very easily, to the point where even Dawn and Xander were able to fight them. We are just looking at theories as to why the original Turok Han was so much stronger.

ok, but out of interest why Anya? Wouldnt everyone else see a difference too?

Anya would notice it because, at the time, she was a demon and, as a general rule, demons don't have souls, althought Anya certainly seemed to have one after she got her powers back.

I've heard this before:

Buffy actually turned evil doing some run of the show. Many fans speculated this pre-Gift and post-Gift.

It would make a lot of sense, and it would have been awesome if we found out at the end of Chosen. Imagine Buffy's smiling at the very end, but then all of a sudden she turns around, laughs, and beats the rest of the Scoobies and Potentials senseless. Could somehow tie in with the First Evil's obsession with her which also ties in to another theory: The First Evil wanted Buffy's body to become corporeal.

I've often thought about this. Again, looking at the clues throughout Season 7, it would make sense. The First was obviously stalking her and loved being in her form. Maybe for the First to become corporeal he would have to take over Buffy's body due to some issue about her being the only (or one of the only, or only slayer) to be alive and that he/she/ it could still take her form. Think about it!

That's a good one. Something to think about.

i mean that ubervamps are a different kind from normal ones. like anya once said that the gang have never seen a proper demon. vampires and things are hybrids of different things. tainted etc. ubervamps are older less tainted or something. do you see what i mean? somehow i cant seem to get what i mean out :s
Hm yea okay, I thought you were trying to answer the question about why the first uber vamp was more difficult to kill (like The Watcher explained in tis post).
Because Joss said there was no real reason to that, except that it needed to be harder to kill, for the show. But some people still have theories about why/how/the reason on the show.
But yeah, you were talking about something else I guess, my mistake (sorry).

sorry. i didnt realise. 🙂 in that case, i have no idea. i always wondered about that.

Well the real reason for Buffy/The First happening a lot is because its cheaper and easier to do (well not easier for Sarah bless her). Secondly she is literally fighting herself, its another of those lovely metaphors.

A couple of my theories that don't make any sense at all:

-Ethan Rayne formed the Trioka to annoy Buffy, part of a master plan that has not been revealed. After Warren and Jonothan's deaths, Ethan placed Andrew as a spy, so Andrew can betray them at the worst possible moment.

-The Mayor was actually Big Bad throughout all of seasons 1-3, with Snyder as his second in command. Snyder worked for the Mayor (hinted to in season 2 a little bit), so he did his dirty work like helped in the resurection of The Master, and once the Master thing didn't work, he called in Spike and Dru to clean up his mess (I.E the Annointed One) and get rid of Buffy while plotting on de-souling Angel by stressing Buffy during her personal life forcing her to give Angel her true moment of happiness. And in season 3 after Snyder accomplished all of the tasks the Mayor gave Snyder, he turned on him and ate him.

-Caleb was one of the other Gods from Glory's hell dimension.

-The Shanshu prophecy actually involves dieing and being reborn as an infant.

-Jonothan and Amy were back up Scooby alternates in case anything happened to Willow or Xander.

-Not much of theory, but I believe that the reason for Connor and Dawn's existence was to accomplish what Angel and Buffy never could. To actually fall in love and have a happy ending. Think about it, both or in some way off springs from Angel or Buffy and both should have never been born. Also, both involve reality altering in some form. there's a link between the four of them, I know it.

-"The Father will kill the son" prophecy was actually about Angel and Spike. Fortelling how Angel would turn back into Angelus one day and dust Spike. Only for Spike to be the one who Shanshu's.

-Lindsey was actually working for The First in season 5 of Angel. No proof just an interesting theory.

-Rhona was the next to be called after Buffy died. (Actually someone else's theory, but I believe it)

Ahh baby Angel, cute thought. Crazy and interesting theories though, thanks!

Hehe nice theories, the connor & dawn one sounds like Wuthering Heights
I have a theory that Cordelia at first chose to be taken over by Jasmine on the higher plains because maybe he thought that Jasmine could help the world, so cordy being taken over would be for the greater good and cordy would willingly sacifice herself for that as we see in your welcome, not that strange but a theory nonetheless!!!

That's very interesting. My question is when Angelus strikes Buffy across the right side of the face in Becoming, her head doesn't fall to the left. In fact, it falls to the right. Why?? I mean it is simple physics. When you punch someone on the right side of the face, the head should go to the left...unless of course, there was a second puncher...

The magic fist ... interesting.
Spike couldn't have had a soul at least not in series 5 because in the last episode of series 5 that doctor demon guy says "i dont smell a soul anywhere on you"

Maybe he was just trying to make him mad...

Maybe but spike's reply implied he didnt have a soul, i mean he should have said i do have a soul instead of i made a promise to a lady, then again if he wanted to keep it stum then he wouldnt have cos dawn would have heard but i dont like this theory, mainly cos i dont like spike

A theory i have just come up with is that well cordelia killed Barney the empath demon she acquired his powers because it was after this episode that cordy gained such an insight into everyone, she always knew what others where feeling, especially angel and she always knew just the right thing to say. I mean she was the only one who knew that telepathic girl was after sex, without even talking to her, she just looked at her and new. I'm sure she was an empath, even if they didnt come from barney thye could have been one of the powers of a seer

That's an interesting one! I like it! Although she could've just been REALLY intuitive...
I was talking to my friend about Convos w/dead people and she told me that she always thought that the summers home had like a force field or something to keep the first out. When the first tried coming in as Joyce, the black demon thing was the protecter thinggy trying to keep it out. So Dawn's banning the black demon thing from the house didn't do her any favors.

Kind of like a Haliwell manor type thing and the nexus, how they're suppose to be stronger there
