Stranger Things Season 3

I feel like they took too long to get season 3 out, it’s been ages since I’ve watched any of season 2.

Oct 27, 2017 is when S2 came out. You would think with that much time in between might have gotten more than 8 episodes.
I wanted to be excited for this but it's just been too long since Season 2 and I kind of lost interest. Also, Season 2 wasn't all that great, I didn't like how they added to the cast and made the show bigger and flashier (the contained story of Season 1 was so much more endearing) and this season looks like it's getting even bigger and more flashy. I'll probably check it out for curiosity's sake but I can't help but feel that this series would have been better as just a one-season show.

Yeah, it does look a bit too flashy.

After watching this trailer I'm only mildly interested. I will definitely be watching the new season and give it a chance though.

I'll be excited with you MetDa. I loved both this and the earlier teaser.

I think it is great that they are expanding the world of the show. It's like a fairly tale version of America in the 80s. They introduced so much good stuff in S2, but I think they made a mistake by releasing it all at once. It hurt the fandom and stopped it from being the water cooler sensation it should have been, like Game of Thrones and Twin Peak The Return.

I actually πŸ’œ S2. I think the trailer looks great! So I'm really looking forward to S3. πŸ™‚

I liked season 2 also.

Maybe because its been so long between seasons its making it hard for me to muster any excitement. I'm hoping once I start watching it I will get into it. Maybe I will do a rewatch to get myself in the mood before it starts.

I even got the dvds in the faux vhs packaging
I'm in the excited group as well! Season 2 admittedly wasn't as good, but I think the series still has a lot of potential, and I'm curious to see where they go with it. I think they have a five season plan at this point too (and then will end it), so I'm hoping they know all the major story points they want to hit, and don't just drag it out until no one cares anymore. Their trailers always get me super pumped up for the show with the music lol.

I also bought the VHS packaging...could resist since it was unique lol

I haven't seen season 2, I enjoyed the way season 1 ended so never bothered with season 2. I'll not be seeing season 3 either, I think it's just adding more seasons as season 1 was so popular

I will watch it.
But I have pretty low expectations...

Feels like these kind of shows have a pretty short lifespan in general.
Already season 2 had lost a lot of its magic.

But I will give at a go. It has been good enough for that imho.

Yeah I feel a bit the same about The OA :(
I'll watch and hope they can recreate the magic of Season 1. It had so much going for it, edge of the seat viewing. Trouble is they had to change it up in Season 2 and lost a lot of the quality. They'll need to change again, fingers crossed it's into something better.

I'll watch it cos I have so much time to fill, but was never massively pumped for this. I've said before, the 80's didn't end here until 1998, so too recently for me to be nostalgic for it.

I also bought the VHS packaging...could resist since it was unique lol

I'll sell ya the original Buffy movie VHS packeting for $50,000 πŸ˜‰ Genuine fan used condition πŸ˜‰
