I got this idea from "Survivor".
Say you're doomed to be stuck in a desert island. You will have to do many things until the time someone rescues you: build a shelter, fire, get food, etc. Which BtVS/Ats character, only one(!), would be the right person you would want to be stuck with, considering the fact that they will have to do some/all of the work on the island, probably better than you? The intention is: you must survive until someone saves you both!
 
I don't know, I'd like to say Spike because I love him and he's my favorite character... but I think I would piss him off... maybe even to the point of biting me. So I'm going to go with Willow.
 
If I were to have to pick one character to be in that kind of survival situation, I would pick the one who would be the most experienced at that sort of thing: Fred. If she can survive for literally years in an alien dimension, a few weeks or months on an island would be child's play.

Gona go with Riley on this one. Apart from the fact that he is a highly trained soldier, he is also a country boy. He'd know how to survive. On top of all the practical gains of having Riley with you there is the fact that he is by nature, a fun, affable and positive guy. He would definitely help keep spirits up.

Not to mention he ain't exactly hard to look at.

So yay, I call dibs on Riley.

Hey, now, me and Fred are just friends. Really. But Miss K and Riley? Looks suspicious to me.
For some reason the first person (since Kean stole Riley from me!) that popped into my head was Doyle. Yes, he would be helpful, but more important is that he's funny, and would do a good job keeping me company & keeping my spirits up. Not to mention, that we just don't get enough of him on ATS, so there's that. Hey- but he's dead, that doesn't disqualify him, right? 😉
 
The first names I thought of were Fred and Buffy.

Fred because surviving is, well, her M.O. but I know that if it came down to it, she'd turn on anyone to save herself. Guess I'd just have to hope it didn't come to that.

Buffy, in a way, is a survivor, too. She never gives up. And, Buffy's Slayer strength would make tasks like manual labor and hunting easier. And, unlike Fred, she would never turn on who she was with. She'd try to protect them. And, I'd have no problem letting her be leader.

So, I guess I pick Buffy because she'd have my back.

Okay, I'm going to pick 2 different people, for different reasons. That is definitely cheating, but I can't pick one!

Xander: Only if he still had his army training though, which I think is up till some point in Season 5 correct? He seems to be good at building things, and if you combined that with his army training you have the perfect survivalist.

Riley: Really this would be my choice if I had to choose, I think I would get along better with Riley than Xander, and I think Riley would have the intelligence to realise the seriousness of the situation and use everything he had to help us survive. Plus, as Kean said, not exactly difficult to look at 😉
 
Angel.

He could feed of me, and I could cut flesh of his body to cook and eat. Actually, he could probably swim for fish for me, then I'd let him bite.

He would also offer to do most of the work, because he would be all gentleman-like.

I actually dislike Angel as a person, but on a Island he would be very useful. Spike might be more entertaining, and slutty as usual, so he'd want to sleep with me, but he would whine constantly and probably be much more unwilling to get me fish or help out, and after a week of bitcing and moaning (the bad kind) with that, I might kill myself. Maybe two weeks, if the sex is good enough.

So Angel, definitly.

Maybe Buffy, since she's strong, able, and less likely to burn up during the day, but if our periods sink up, that might be hell. And she would probably expect me to help out more than Angel, having grown up in the 21st centuary.

I forgot Willow. She could teleport us out, or somehow contact main land and they'd send someone. And/Or do a spell and build us a very comfortable temple. Also she's gay, so there might be sex in that deal too.

It could be awesome.
 
Well since Angel or Spike would fry in the sunlight I would have to say Connor I think. If the boy has enough drive to survive Quor-toth a stint on an island will be a walk in the park to him 🙂

Although Kean made a good point about Riley. He's both capable, funny and easy on the eyes. Though frankly his good mood would probably bug the crap out of me so I think the moody Connor and I would get along much better 🙂
