Suggestion - Halloween Event

Ok my scary movie knowledge leaves alot to be desired but does Halloween have Whedon connections?
 
Well, Jamie Lee Curtis also starred in Halloween H20, which also starred Josh Harnett, who starred in The Faculty with Clea DuVall (Stokes) and Clea DuVall played the invisble girl in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

It's a really long-winded Whedon connection, but it's there! hehe..ok you're right, there's no Whedon connection.. 🙁
 
The movie's I plan on watching are

Halloween 3
Dawn Of The Dead(Original)
Zombi 2
Seven
Scream.

Then I'll be going to a costume party.
 
Veyron agrees: SHPS was never a clique. It was and if it still exists at the time of writing this open to all. The fact that the same people turned up each week to watch is coincidental.

^ Pretty simple answer - it seemed cliquey to me, therefore it was cliquey to me!
 
so are there going to be reminders when it starts? so if i could make one of these, would there be posts announcing. 'we're starting hush now', 'we're starting something blue now', because i know i wont be able to make it when it starts, and doubt i will at all, but if i do i want to know if im online for something.

There's three actually🙂

On the 29th of October we will have a Halloween Episodes that Weren't Marathon. Basically episodes of Buffy that freak you out so much they could be Halloween eps. We are going to be watching Killed by Death, Hush and Conversations with Dead People.


On the 30th there will be two screenings of all of the Halloween Buffy episodes. For Europe it will be 8PM GMT and will carry on untill midnight where they will be watching Rocky Horror Picture Show. Now there are two options you can join in with Europe or you can take part in the American screening which will take place at 9 or 10 pm eastern time depending on what is best for you guys. We could also watch RHPS if you wanted.

On the 31st we will have Fright Night where we will watch some whedonverse related scary movies🙂 We will be watching Scream 2, I Know what You Did Last Summer and Darkness Falls.

I did not know there were two options; if I werent the manly devil I am, I would let out a squeee of joyous rapture.

Blimey, do I want to be watching Hush near midnight? I can barely watch it in daylight.... and I have had to put curtains up at ALL my windows in case of faces gliding past in the wee hours....

Just a reminder guys that tomorrow we will be having a Halloween Episodes that Weren't Marathon. Basically episodes of Buffy that freak you out so much they could be Halloween eps. We are going to be watching Killed by Death, Hush and Conversations with Dead People in the BBTv channel in the IRC.

We will be kicking things off at 10PM GMT (6PM EST, 3PM West Coast and 9AM in NZ)
