suggestion... please

You can do this 🙂

Goto the forum you want, look for the button that says "Forum Tools" on the right, click it, and select "Subscribe to forum" - it'll let you set an email for each time somebody posts.
 
I know that... can you make it so that every time a new THREAD is made. not post. not so we subscribe to every thread, just so we know the topic of all the new threads. You know, so we don't miss anything.

Well, this will email you each time a new topic is started. :: tu :: However, it will also most probably email you each time somebody replies to the topics, unless you unsubscribe from them...

If that's not what you're after, you may have a bit of a problem, as anything else would require changes to the way the forum software works.
 
i am trying to talk to the people that have a say over things like this (Not to be rude). They can change it if they want to, I am asking if there is a way for them to change it.

Erm, fair enough, I will be sure not to suggest things and contribute discussion to the discussion forum again.
 
Look at the board tool bar thing. In between Calendar and Search there's a link called NEW POSTS. Whenever you leave the board, that goes up whenever someone posts a new THREAD or a new POST. So, you could always click on that when you wanna see what's been made.

Members are also welcome to answer questions if they know the answer, especially if there is no staff member on at that time.

I am not aware of something that allows us to do this, but if there is one of the other admins will be able to confirm it.

But as Hero pointed out there is the 'View New Posts' function which allows you to browse all the new threads made and the posts made in them.

Like I said, I wasn't trying to be rude. I know that I am not capable of currently doing this, I was asking if there was someone who could change it for me. Kevin and Hero are both welcome to help. I am glad he tried to help me, but he can't change the thread and he didn't understand what I was talking about.

I didn't know this. I was wondering if there was a way i could find the new threads, and apparently there is, so thank all of you for your greatly appreciated help.
