So.... 3 school days left till Abbs is off for the Summer Holidays (I'm probably more excited than she is)!!

What do you do for the holidays?
Where do you go?

Not been abroad for years....plenty of places to see in UK 😉

How long do you get as a Summer holiday?
As I'm kinda retired, pretty much the whole Summer......aaaaand you didn't want to hear that, did you? 😏


We tend to go away, normally to The Forest of Dean, during term time as it's cheaper/quieter..... ​

Abbs gets 6 weeks off school... wish it was longer but oh well. She'll be going into year 8 and heading into her teens when she goes back to school ... which will be a mind bender for those that remember her baby photos!!! (Yes I've been here a while, lol).

We were thinking of going to France or Spain to visit Grandparents but it's just too hot!! Not in the holidays in Summer anyway. We were also thinking of somewhere like Centre Parks or Butlins in the UK but they want over £2000 for a week and that's NOT all inclusive! So days out at home it will be. We have Hever castle near us and a wildllife centre. There could be trips to London and Brighton also and I have various friends over from old rocker mates to a BB member over for a bit. Abbs has her friends over too so we should survive the 6 weeks.

I love it when kids have their school holidays and get to see what life is like in the wonderful Australian countryside.
Spiders that can kill them
Snakes that can kill them
Lizards that can kill them
Dogs that can kill them
Cats that can kill them
Crocodiles that can kill them
Horses that can kill them
Me running a charity to get the money to pay them animals each year is hard.
and still the little buggers like their holidays, they need to go back to school!
