Summer is here, are any of you planning on watching a lot of Buffy?

I'm buying the complete series next week so I'm definitely planning on watching it. It'd be amazing if I can watch all 7 seasons this summer. 😎

What about Angel? You should try to watch both shows in the order they were meant to. It's a better experience because certain stories crossover into both shows, and Angel is frickin awesome!

I was going to try and watch both Buffy and Angel but I have some many other shows I may just watch Angel. I really miss it.

I've been doing an Angel rewatch. I've made it to Season 2 Disharmony so far.

Although I love stand-alone eps, I enjoy both Buffy and Angel when I make the time to watch the whole series in succession. Joss's shows blend together and are more cohesive overall than most tv series I can think of.

I did 2 Buffy rewatches last year so while I always watch an episode here & there I won't be doing a big rewatch. I am rewatching Angel though. And I'm reading the Angel: After the Fall comics & rereading Buffy season 8 in anticipation of season 9. I would also like to do a Dollhouse rewatch since I've already seen it once & loved it.

I'm also currently watching some other shows.

I am constantly watching Buffy/Angel anyway. I watch at least an episode everyday. I have done for years. It's like my routine even if i'm watching other shows. It just never gets old to me.

I might do that. It's been a while since I had a massive rewatch. And I don't have things left to watch on my DVDs, watched everything way too many times.

If you're doing a Buffy rewatch you might as well watch Angel along with it. So get a hold of a Buffy/Angel crossover guide (Google it) & start Angel when you're watching Buffy season 4. It really enhances your understanding and enjoyment of the plots & characters on each show. So for example, to really understand Faith's development, you have to see Angel seasons 1 & 4. Are you a Bangel fan? You must not miss Angel season 1! A Spike fan? Wait till you see Angel season 5!! And of course the growth of Angel, Cordy and Wes are amazing to watch. Yeah, you could say I'm a fan. 🙂

Hale Caesar agrees: Agreed. But it's better to watch all of Angel and not just the crossover episodes. Angel is a great show without Buffy too
