Summer of Firefly

If anyone pays for Spotify, I did see the audiobook on there. It looks like they have the complete series of the Firefly books, but I only have a free account so no access for me.
 
Would anyone who has read book 1, or is currently reading it, be willing to write a quick over view of what happened? I don't think book 2 continues on the story. I think it's a stand alone for each book, but it would be good to have a little recap anyway.

If anyone does feel like writing one, can you please pm it me by the end of the month, then I'll add it into the first discussion thread.
 
Unsurprisingly I'm behind on the watching but I am keeping up with the threads and will get the reading schedule posted soon. We'll as soon as I find the piece of paper I wrote it on!

For those people, unlike me, who are keeping up with the rewatch. Its the final week of episodes, and then we're onto the film.

I'm actually not as far behind as I thought I was, and I've almost finished week 2 of the book, so almost up to date with that one!
 
HOW DID I MISS ALL OF THIS? I come back after *cough cough* only like a year and a half absence, and I miss all the firefly festivities??? Shame on me! I gotta get caught up on this rewatch! Just in time for Serenity!!!
 
We're up to week 5 of our reading of The Magnificent Nine.
 
Spike in Firefly? I doubt that but if you want to see who the vampire slayer was on Serenity 500 hundred years into the future read my Fan Fiction in the section ' In The Watcher Diaries ' and read the tale - There's No Place We Can't Be - on page 4, maybe page 5 soon and page 22. From January 20th 2022.
The previous one was Class Code 03-K64 Firefly from March 27th 2008 on page 22.

Now if I could only write a song about Jayne from them!

If the character is of another from the town of Persephone who has the name Jane, then could the song be about her?
Should Jane have decided to have a sex change and become a man, a man who changed the spelling of his name to become Jayne,
will that be alright NotASlayer?
