Summer plans!

Okay, just curious, today is my last day of school (alas, today at 2:45 I will finally be a senior!!!!!!!!!!!!)

and many people are already out of school. So what are your summer plans??? Family visits, road trip to god knows where, camping, etc.

Me... I have a fun summer planned out. It's the same every summer. My friend Sammie has this cabin at a massive lake that's like 1 hour and 1 half away... It's 2 floors, her parents let her go out there every weekend (is there such thing as weekends in summer time???) and they have jet skiis (spelling? Gah i suck!), boats, a big huge boat (that she can't drive...) etc. and it's awesome... We go out there, as we have for the last 3 years, and just hang out... I'm a crazy jet ski driver, too. Haha. It's great. (and last year, we met these two boys...... Who have a cabin up the road from Sammie... And they said they were coming back on this summer..... Woo! Haha.)

So what are your summer plans???
 
That sounds nice, my plans aren't as glamorous.

Trips to Denmark and Finland, that's how far my money got me (I'll be living at home, Sweden for the summer and those who ain't to good with geography, well lets just say my money didn't get me far). Still it's gonna be nice to hang out with my home friends which some of them I haven't seen for like 6 months. The plans are that we are gonna rent a cabin on the Swedish Finiish boarder, but unfortunately they're just plans so far.

No work for me which kinda makes me feel guilty, but instead I'm gonna try to read up on some of the modules I'm taking next year.

Oh and if we do rent that cabin we're gonna have a horror film festival at my place before we go. Watch movies such as Motel Hell, Deliverance, Cabin Fever and perhaps I'll throw in Wrong Turn there as well.
 
Wrong Turn is awesome. Eliza, mostly. I also enjoy Deliverance and I like Cabin Fever, but I'm mad at that movie... Because I saw it and fell for Rider Strong and started watching Boy Meets World for him and stopped watching Buffy. But CF is the perfect movie to watch before renting a Cabin!!! Never heard of Motel Hell. Is it scary?
 
Not really more funny and a bit gore. It's about this nice old man who's making the best beef jerky in the county and he just happens to have a special ingredient. The tag line is "Meat's meat and man's gotta eat", so it's perfect to frighten things up before a nice country vacation.
 
Haven't got so much plans right now, I sort of just realized that summer is here soon. But I think I'm going to a music festival in july if I'm not totally out of money. Other than that I'm just going home to visit my family and friends, gonna work some in the end of the summer, but try and relax and take it easy as often as I can.
 
My summer plans involve working for lots of cash.... yes sirree bob! Oh, and I'm going to T in the Park too. Oh and I'll be in England for a few weeks in September while my sister pops out baby number 3.
 
Hmmm... Summer... What's that? 😉

I'll be in Halifax, sailing with the Canadian Navy, and making more money than I can spend (which is a challenge that I definately accept) and drinking like the hardcore sailor that I am :nod: :drink:
 
Build a Nip/Tuck screencap site. That and work for my holiday which is right at the end of the summer.
 
My summer plans are the same as always. Perhaps sometime go on some family trip (which ends up being meh sis, meh mom and I) to who knows where. And for the rest of the time, I will hang out with some of my friends. But now I somehow have to fit internt and video games into my schedule 😛
 
I have to teach summer school. So, I'll have a bunch of kids who do not want to be in school, but are forced to be there. But, it's a summer job.

I am planning a trip to Vegas in August before school starts and I start teaching full time again for next school year.

That's about it...
 
Well I going to Italy for a week or so, then off to visit family. I also wanna build a Buffy related website so, sould be kept quite busy...
 
Going the states for the whole summer !!! Camp counselling in NY state for 7 weeks.. then travelling around... meeting some ppl 😀

Then, back in France & I depart again, going to Bham towards mid-Sept & I'll stay there the whole year!!!

I can't wait !!! *excited* :whatever:
 
I'm not graduating until a week from tomorrow... But I'm gonna take this summer course at the university, just for the money... And probably go to Urkult, a great folk music festival, in the beginning of August... That's about it unless I somehow end up with lots of money, which won't happen... So yeah...
 
Im leaving college on 27th of June. Gonna get a full time job for most of the summer. & then at the endish of Summer, me & a mate are off to Italy.
 
my plan is to go to ged classes hopefully soon, Spend as much time with my boyfriend as posible... my mom is comming down at the end of july for my birthday we're having a party the weekend before my birthday so on the 30th and if my mom likes my bf she's gonna let me marry him early before i turn 18 so i'm crossing my fingers everything goes perfect. But thats my summer nothing special.
 
I'm going to go to Virginia later on in the summer. I have a business trip to wild and crazy Michigan and I think I may go to Las Vegas for a couple of days...other than that, a lot of running/training and relaxing.

Just let me warn you, stay away from the west side of Michigan. We're so dull over here you couldn't cut butter with us.
Gonna be working full time till the 18th of September but I might get up to 10 days off if a certain someone moves his ass over the Atlantic here..lol
plus..planning to go for 2 days to Oxford and stay with my friend and I already have been on a 2 day trip to Brighton,Dover,Canterbury and Guilford and I brought lots of teddies from there..lol
 
Bloody work at the hateful new job🙁

Still, we plan to have some fun weekends at Pointy Towers, including a trip to see Star Wars Ep3 (finally) and a possibility of a week off down at my Mum's in August 🙂
 
i think its so sad to be answering this thread! but i'm still gonna do it... well i have summer vacation from sunday, well acualy saturday morning will be my last day of work.. soooo looking forward to that! since i've been working my but of(and i do mean its coming of since i run pretty much 3-5 hours a day, 6 days a week, since beging of june...) and on monday i'm going to my moms house, posibly my mother-in-laws house, or rather to our home town(my boyf and me.) we're gnna stay there for 3 weeks... which will be fun, i hope, since i haven't been in that town for 21 days streight since i moved away 3 years ago... will be cool to see my siblings and so hang around with them..
i'm also planing a b-day partyy for my self, though it clashes with my sis and best friends ghetto party(??? lol) so i don't know whats gonna happen there, prob will be some fun times no matter what happens! :cyclop:
