Summertime TV watching- 2011

I plan to watch Doctor Who, True Blood, Downton Abbey, and possibly Torchwood during the summer 🙂.

I need to watch the second half of Smallville, Supernatural and Nikita.

I've started watching Bones in the last few weeks, and I've just finnished season 3, so will get caught up on that.

Also just finnished Season 1 of Leverage so will be catching up on that.

On my list to watch are Friday Night Lights, Prision Break, season 2 on of Mad Men, Damages and Bored to Death.

WINX CLUB!

Coming to Nick next month with I think three movies outlining the plot so far, then Season 4. And then next February, Season 5... I'm psyched. I'm just so, so psyched.

Just got the official plans for the Winx TV movies...

Special #1 "Winx Club" -- 8:00 PM, Monday, June 27th
Special #2 "Winx Club: Revenge of The Trix" -- July (exact date TBD)
Special #3 "Winx Club: The Battle for Magix" -- August (exact date TBD)
Special #4 "Winx Club: The Shadow Phoenix" -- September (exact date TBD)

It looks like Season 1 will last three movies and they plan to cram Season 2 into one... that sort of amuses me, except my favorite episode (The Invisible Pixies) is in Season 2, has no relevance to the plot whatsoever, and will likely get cut... le sigh.

I love that show! I think Jersey and Atlanta are easily my favorites. I like New York and well Orange County I well lol don't know what to say about that one, I prefer BH for California.

Jersey housewives are very crazy have you seen Mob Wives? That is my new reality obsession maybe because the girls are always so upfront and it makes crazy fun.

I'm currently watching all of Grey's Anatomy, and I want to watch the first few seasons of Private Practice and Castle that I havent seen.

My usual summer show aired in the spring this year, Army Wives, so now I dont have it all summer 🙁 but Rizzoli & Isles starts soon!!! I love that show.

Updated list: I'm doing a Degrassi rewatch now (I might continue and try to give the later seasons a try this time), then I'm going to do Doctor Who and Torchwood (hopefully) and 30 Days because my mom and her husband want me to... then I was thinking FINALLY watching Castle. and then maybe if it works out so I still have time, FINALLY doing BSG.

Im going to be watching Drop Dead Diva, Pretty Little Liars, Doctor Who, Body of Proof and Waterloo Road as they come out, and when they arent on then I will be watching through the whole of supernatural, ParentHood and Brothers and Sisters 😀

Oh and everyone should watch Body of Proof, it is an AWESOME show 😀

Rookie Blue add that to my list it is finally coming back and boy have I missed it.
I am also going to try and fit in six feet under and Everwood (can you tell I love Greg) since it is finally all out on dvd.
Lastly Skins I am doing a re-watch of that actually in a few days.

I seem to be watching more factual programmes than dramas or comedies these days- I'm going through a phase of wanting to find out something new when I come home of an evening. There's been a particularly good TV history of Ireland on recently which doesn't really have an agenda but is really informative and brings out the twists and turns of Irish history and the relationship with Britain.

TVD and Bones have finished, whilst Glee's finishing in a couple of weeks time, and Doctor Who is going on a break this week. Luckily, Supernatural S6 is starting over here next week, as well as Torchwood starting in July (I think), so I've got a couple of shows to tide me over until Doctor Who returns in the autumn.

In terms of re-watches, I'll probably watch Glee and ATS, as well as finishing my Buffy re-watch.

We finally get the last season of Smallville in the UK in the next couple of weeks, plus there are also the new seasons of Dexter, Supernatural and Torchwood coming up for us soon...and I think I saw a trailer for new Lie To Me today 🙂

I just recently discovered Mob Wives. They are the Jersey housewives on CRACK!! Love them, too! :winking15

The summer shows I'm going to watch are Leverage (starts later this month) and Warehouse 13, which starts in July. I may or may not stick with Warehouse 13, depending on whether Myka will be coming back or not.

Also, trying to catch up on my DVDs of Supernatural (currently in season 4) and How I Met Your Mother (almost done with season 4). I've also gotta watch season 2 of Pushing Daisies, and I'd like to watch the last season of Doctor Who, which I missed.
