Sunnydale before Buffy's arrival

This might have been said already, but I'm just gonna give my two cents.

The Masters rising coincided with Buffy's arrival, so there would have been 'more' mystical activity once that occurred since the vampires would be attracted to the masters presence? also, let's be realistic here, in a sense, the place attracts demons and such but that can't mean that the whole of Sunnydale would be overrun with them, and for the show's sake, demons would only come here and then, others might be in Cleveland for instance.
 
But the vampires wanted to rule with The Master, so wouldn't it make sense for them to move to Sunnydale?
 
only a select few (order of aurelius) would have known about his rising, but because he did not surface for long enough, other vamps wouldn't have known.

and whenever there was resarch something always happened another place that seemed odd
there were some wired things happening before buffy came just not as dire
maybe because the main characters started out i highschool and it was supposed to be "highschool as hell" in the begining

Where did you get that from? Buffy's predecessor was never mentioned in canon. Sadly, as I might add, would've been interesting. I always wondered why Buffy never asked about the girl before her.
 
I'm just kinda thinking that before Buffy came along it was a lot of people making excuses for deaths.
People didn't think it was possible for there to be such a thing as the supernatual world.

Example:
The Harvest, when Lucas was at the Bronze with all those people there and was feeding on all of them.
Buffy kills him with everyone there.
Then the next day Xander and her are at school and it's like any other day.
Cordelia explains it as if they were a gang and what not, even though just the night before people had died in front of her by being bitten, even herself.
It's not in peoples nature to believe in the parnormal.
 
I think Xander said that because of his and Willow's relathionship. Willow was a little jealous of Buffy because Xander was interested in her and not in Willow, Buffy was in middle, so I think Xander was refering on their personal life, but Giles was talking about demons and vampires.
 
The Hellmouth was always there and the Master was always waiting for the time to escape. But the question is were there vampire attacks before Buffy arrived, if the answer is 'no' then it is quite possible that the arrival of the Slayer and her Watcher stirred things up a little.
