Super Bowl 2013!

So, as most of my American friends (Or anyone interested in the game Hand-Egg 😉 ) should know the Super Bowl is THIS Sunday!! The two teams that have made it all the way this year as my beloved Baltimore Ravens, and The San Francisco 49er's. East Coast vs. West Coast. This is a HUGE deal for both football teams.

I was just wondering which team everyone would be rooting for, what they plan to do on game day, or what they think the outcome will be.


Personally I think the game will be 31-18 Ravens.

I am unimpressed with either team, as none use alliteration in their names. However, as an English man, I shall root for the Baltimore Ravens, as the other team MAKES NO SENSE TO ME 🙂

Steelers are a good team, there is no denying that. I am just proud of the Ravens this year. First the Orioles made it big, now the Ravens. It Baltimore's turn to shine. 🙂

I've some kind of nostalgic feeling of seeing 49ers in a Super Bowl again.

When I first started to get an interest in football in the late 80's it wasn't much broadcasted, or even written about it, here in Sweden.
Since 49ers pretty much was the team to beat back then they where the ones most mentioned and therefore the team I learned most about.

So I think it's fun to see them again in a Super Bowl, it makes me reminiscing the good old days... lol

My vote goes to the Ravens because "49ers" makes no sense as a name, to me... (I always base my prediction on the name and/or logo of the team, and I'm right 33% of the time XD)

Since they never make as many points as Canadian football teams, I go with 35-30.

I plan on going to my Friends house to see the game as I don't have a cable or satellite provider funny I have all this tech and nice 1080 TV but I don't actually watch conventional TV

As in the 'Clementine' song that Huckleberry Hound used to sing- "'twas a miner, 49er, and his daughter Clementine...".

I'm not very big on football.....more of a basketball and baseball fan these days, but I used to love the Niners back in the day (the Joe Montana years), and this Niners team did a good job making it back to the Bowl, so I'll be rooting for San Francisco.

Another reason I root against the Ravens is because the OP, [MENTION=11056]Seeing Red[/MENTION] hates my Yankees. XD 😉 😛

By the amount of noise outside my window I am starting to wish that the 49ers did win. XD

Great game though. Both teams played well. The end was super stressful. Can't wait for next year! 😀

I didn't watch a whole lot of the game, since I had homework to do, but I did watch enough to see the totally suckey half-time "show" (which was more about Beyonce's crotch than anything else), and I saw the Ravens win. I was pretty shocked that the Niners came back the way they did; it was looking like it was gonna be a landslide victory for the Ravens there for a while.
