Wait, for real? Wow, I never knew that. Why would Kansas City not be in Kansas? That would be if like New York City was in Maine or Delaware or something.

I'm not a regular football viewer, but I always tune in for the Super Bowl. This year's game was one of the best I've seen. Sometimes they're dull, blowout matches, but this year they were neck in neck, and you were unsure who could win from start to finish. There was a Tenacious Defense (heheh) from both sides, and the first touchdown of the game, which didn't happen till the second quarter, was a legendary play. It really was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Even the half-time show with Usher was superb.

Well... it is in Kansas. About a quarter of the city is in Kansas and three quarters is in Missouri.

It's because Kansas City was, prior to statehood, on both sides of the Missouri River. Once the territory became states they used the Missouri River as the state border, thus, splitting Kansas City in two. A small bit in Kansas and the rest in Missouri. The Kansas City Chiefs are located in, and play in, Missouri.
