Superman, The Man Of...Foam Rubber?

Okay, maybe not exactly foam rubber, but anyhow, this is what the costume would have looked like back several years ago, with Nicholas Cage wearing it. Hopefully, the latest actor to play the part won't need so much padding.

Actually, at that time, he was kinda beefed up for "Con Air" as seen here

so he really shouldn't have needed a lot of padding, not that I could picture him as Superman, even if he had Schwarzenegger's physique.

I could never imagine Nicholas Cage as anything... LOL He has a weird look, and even though I loved him in "Con Air" and "City of Angels", I never immediately go "Oh, Nick Cage would be great in that role!" when I think about roles in TV or movies.

Nicholas Cage!? Ugh! Noooo. I'm convinced that any movie he stars in will be unintentionally funny. Seriously. If he had starred in The Shawshank Redemption it would have been like...Scary Movie, but worse.
