Supernatural; I'm in LOVE. (Spoilers In This Thread!)

Come to think of it, there was really only 1 episode that I truly didn't like: "Heart" in season 2; nothing really came together in that episode, and the love story (was it even? I couldn't tell what it was supposed to be) was just bad. I stopped watching for a while after that episode, which turned out to be a bad decision because the next 5 (last of the season) were all great episodes. One of my favorites is "Mystery Spot".

I was surprised reading all the negative comments about Ruby. I liked her (the original one, not so much the one in season 4). Cassidy could have pulled off the season 4 story line and it's a shame she didn't continue the role IMO. Although the recasting makes sense, both from a story standpoint and a production standpoint (I guess).

'Heart' is my all time favorite SPN ep, but it has nothing to do with the storyline, or Sam, or Madison, or the love story or any of it...it's entirely because of Dean in the last frame of the final scene. It breaks my heart Every. Single. Time.

LOVE Jo, Love, Love, LOVE Jo. I think she's awesome. She's such a kick ass character, she can really hold her own against the boys, including Dean. She's probably my favorite character after the boys.

And yes, people, you really should be saving this post as proof. There ARE female fans who actually LIKE the female characters on the show, lol.

*raises hand* I like the female characters! I hate that people don't like them. I'm all, what, you want them to only ever encounter men? Really? How chauvinistic is that?!

I'm with Lyri on the Jo front (as my ava should prove) and with BB on the general female characters front 😉

^ The first Ruby (aka the GOOD one, Ruby 2.0 works better than sleeping pills) appears in the first episode of the third season and I think the reason why they changed actresses would count as spoiler.

Ah, okay. Thank you! Also, are there any other Buffy actors on it besides Amy, Julie, and Amber?

Yes, Mercedes McNab has a small role too.

Dear Lord, I know way too much about this show. o.o

Yeah when i met Mercedes, she was like' '🙂'.. ' YES. The boys are CUTE'
Not 'stop concentrating' cute
or whatever she said, basically she was saying yes they were hot, but she could still focus and get on with her lines, that they weren't overly HOT.
ha 🙂

I just finished Bugs. Now, I hate bugs and watching this made me hate them.

I've noticed some of the X-Files alumni are involved with this show. Kim Manners, David Nutter, John Shiban were X-Files directors and writers. And the X-Files have been referenced of course.

Amy Acker also appeared for one episode! I also saw the guy who played Duane Barry from the XF.

Yep, and Julie Benz is also in the first season. Amber Benson is in the second, and Mercedes McNab is in the third!

“Nightmare” – “Devil’s Trap”

John made such a big deal about wanting to kill the demon on his own and not to allow Sam or Dean to be in any danger to be be involved in the hunt – despite their protests. Then, he allows Dean and Sam to attempt to kill it themselves? Why? John has spent the last 22 years seeking personal revenge, to just drop it like that? To save his friends. Sure, it makes sense, but it doesn’t you know? He’s willing to let his two sons die. Thoughts?

I gotta say, I love the classic rock soundtrack 😉

What a awesome sick twist – the demon who killed Jess and their mother possessing John! Classic.

It surprises me how dependent Dean is on Sam, while it should be other way around. These two would honestly lay down their lives in an instant for each other - it’s awesome.

Now that I’ve finished this season..I love this show even more, if that’s possible. I’m going to start watching Season 2 as soon as I buy it tonight.

*goes to buy it*

OMG. I'm watching "The Usual Suspects" from Season Two, and it's so good and scary! And effing LIDNA BLAIR IS IN IT!

B
Blondie Bear
I love at the end how Dean goes, "Hey, did she look familiar to you?" XD
I've been rewatching a lot of Season 2 episodes these last few days and it just made me realise what an amazing season it is, I already thought it was really good but seriously I don't think there's even one bad episode, season 4 is my favourite but I think 2 might just overtake it.

I just finished the season three finale.

That last shot? All I can say is..I need a hug 🙁
