Supernatural Stages Buffy Reunion With Charisma Carpenter and James Marsters

Season 1 is a lot of stand-alones. The show becomes more mytharc heavy near the end of that season. From then on the mytharc basically rules the show.
 
Season one does a great job of showing us their day to day lives; that monotonous process of hunting creatures. Once you get into season two though they don't necessarily phase out the monsters of the week; they just get better at weaving the season arc story through the episodes.
 
Buffy vets Charisma Carpenter, James Marsters Guest Star on Supernatural

It's a reunion so epic there must be Supernatural forces at work! Ex-Buffy costars James Marsters and Charisma Carpenter team up on the October 21 episode of The CW shocker to wreak havoc on the Winchester boys as a pair of marrieds with issues far more wicked than anything their former characters Spike and Cordelia ever encountered.

"Charisma plays a very powerful witch," says executive producer Sera Gamble. "In the episode, she starts throwing her power around because she and her husband are in the middle of a contentious divorce." Where's a good vampire slayer when you need one?

I just saw this. :D
It was FANTASTIC to see them both on Supernatural!! Charisma can still play the bitch OH-so-well!!! And James... well, we all know HE'S MY FAV forever & ever... I mean, good god, can that man GET any yummier?!?!?!? 😎
 
This episode has just aired in the UK. They were great together. It made me think that we missed out on a lot of great scenes that could have happened between Cordy and Spike. The two were amazing.
 
I finally got to see this episode when I got the Season 7 Blu-Ray. It was one of my personal favorites from that season. James and Charisma made this episode such a blast! Having James and Charisma guest star on Supernatural was seriously one of the greatest things ever! 😀

I loved their bickering! It was like watching Spike and Cordy (Angel S5 version) married 😀 And I definitely liked it!!
 
I finally caught up to Season Seven on Supernatural. I was excited from the get-go. I knew they would make an appearance. All I can say now is that I was to see them more on this show or others. It's even cooler than they brought them together on the same episode. I kept waiting for both James and Charisma to break into their Buffy characters. I don't know if they are just destined to be those people for me or what. But it was still pretty cool
