Supersymmetry - where's the police?

Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't find it anywhere when I searched. If you have an answer for this straight away, that's cool too.

I was wondering, when Gunn and Fred "disposed" of her professor who sent her to Pylea, it seemed like there was no police search even though they were the last people to see him alive. Surely Fred and Gunn left fingerprints? Wasssgoinonnn?! It all seems too far fetched to me. Also, what's with the weird assistant of the professors?

I just don't understand. Maybe it's just me?

Haha, I guess it's not just the Sunnydale police force that's...shall we say...a little less than competent? 😛 I would say that the team had ways of dealing with the police and keeping heat off them...but then again, in season 1 that really wasn't the case, unless Kate was feeling charitable. I think it's best just to sweep this under the rug and not think about it too much.

Then again, that whole storyline was just mental and seemed foisted in to split Gunn and Fred up.

True enough 😛 guess the Sunnydale police have rubbed off on the LA lot 😉 apart from Kate who was - let's face it - annoying as HELL. She did her job though!
