In the course of 5 Seasons, ATVS has left a lot loose threads concerning supporting characters.

(You can vote on more than one option in this poll)

I picked questions 2,3,5,7....I always wonded what was happening with Kate..Anne and the money-another interesting question...I hope at least one of these 4 questions will be answered soon🙂

I voted 4,5 & 7. A couple of them do actually get answered before S5 is wrapped. 😀

I'd like to see Sahjhan again because that was a great storyline and also Kate. I didn't really like her in S1, but she was good in S2.

I would KILL for Kate to come back and to fill us in with what's been going on. Damn her for staying on Law and Order. ::fire::

I went with 3 and 7. I really would like to see what's going on with Kate...but they don't have enough time to wrap up all these storylines sadly...

1. Is Dana OK?
2. What did Anne do with the money?
3. What was Sahjan's prophecy all about?
wait... whose anne and dana... and what sahjan prophecy?

sorry, i didn't watch ALL the angel episodes... i'm only on season 3

1. She was taken off W&Hs hands by the Scoobies. It's safe to say she's in good hands but I doubt she'll ever be okay, Spike and Angel said as much. I don't think this really needs to be explored further.

2. I'm pretty sure she used it to keep the center open. What else would she have used it for?

3. What was Sahjan's prophecy all about? Connor killing him. At some point this should happen. Whether or not it's shown in the final episodes I don't care. We know it's going to happen and for me that's enough (since neither character was all that thrilling).

4. Well, she's hot so... yes.

5. As long as Angel doesn't have perfect happiness, yes.

6. Well, Angel doesn't seem the type to spend time in chat rooms so I'm gonna say they've met. As far as how they met, does it matter? We don't really know how Spike met Clem, they just did.

7. Yes. She moved to New York, changed her name, and is now working in the D.A.s office with a guy name Jack. Oh wait, Law & Order isn't a Whedon show is it... then I guess we don't really know what happened to Kate.

I do. I loved the Dana character. I worry about her. Hope she's all right.

Yeah but what I'm really saying is, Anne was an interesting character. Was that the same Anne Buffy gave her middle name to, ya think? (Same actress, of course, but same character...I wonder). How is she coping with her decision to keep the blood money?

Ya, but you know...prophesy, implication of apocalypse, fate of humanity, that sort of stuff.

4. Well, she's hot so... yes.

We finally agree.

5. As long as Angel doesn't have perfect happiness, yes.

Poor ol Angel he needs a good snuggle with the woof-girl

6. Well, Angel doesn't seem the type to spend time in chat rooms so I'm gonna say they've met. As far as how they met, does it matter? We don't really know how Spike met Clem, they just did.

We know Angel knows Drogyn from the past. We know they're more or less friendly. Here's the thing. If he knew Drogyn from his Angelus days, wouldn't that make Drogyn evil. Spike didn't know Drogyn. Drogyn was dressed medieval, so he must be even older than Angel. I was saying on the Shanshu thread, what if Drogyn is a vampire with a soul? Doubtful, still, there's a lot of possibilities there.

Oh c'mon you don't want to know what happened to Kate? How could you not want to what happened with Kate?

Dude, she was broken. Smashed to pieces. There's gone, then there's too far gone to come back, then there's too far gone to understand, then you have Dana. She may have a chance to be "not totally guano and violent" but I think that's about it. Best case scenario... she's still gonna be more messed up then Mike Tyson's cell mate after turning down his advances. Spike and Angel said as much and I just don't see the character really going anywhere from there.

Besides, with the time left, the most they could do is give the character part of one episode to 'get better' and become 'okay'. That just isn't enough time and I'd rather see the story not explored at all then done very poorly due to time constraints. I don't think they can work the decades of therapy she'd need into all the time left in the show, never mind part of it. Look at it this way, Faith took two full episodes of Angel to decide to seek a better life and deal with her mental problems never mind actually do so. Do you really think they work any realistic resolution to Dana's story into the last five episodes of the series and still have time to actually bring the series to an end?

I've read that, yes, they are supposed to be the same character. As far as coping goes, she wasn't exactly a saint. The girl tried to feed Buffy to Spike to become immortal and was in league (to a small degree) with Wolfram & Hart (in their pre-Angel days). I'm sure she's dealing just fine with the fact that an evil demon was killed so that she could keep her runaway shelter open.

meh.

It's Connor and Sahjan... who cares. I'm going to assume that several years down the road Connor challenges Sahjan to a "who has the worst hair" contest and Connor just barely beats Sahjan. Sahjan, upset by his loss then challenges Connor to a "who is the lamest character" contest and they both tie. Disheartened by not being able to best Connor either time, Sahjan then commits suicide and the prophecy is fulfilled. End of story.

I kind of got the impression that he was just a 'one shot' character. Personally I didn't find anything particularly compelling about him.

It is safe to assume, though, that he probably isn't a vampire since vamps can lie. He's almost certainly not one with a soul since Angel was always said to be the first and unique until Spike came along (besides, if they have too many 'souled vamps' running around it become cliche and kind of makes the idea of vampire Slaying a little less heroic). I'd say he's also probably evil since Angel told Spike that Drogyn would probably kill him for asking a question... that seems a little drastic.

Also, we don't know that Angel knew Drogyn from his Angelus days. He could have met the guy last week at a strip club for all we know. Still, even if it was Angelus who knew him doesn't make Drogyn evil. I mean, I'm sure Angelus met several non-evil people that he didn't kill and several evil ones that he did in his two hundred some odd years.

I just don't see the appeal. He was a guard. A guy in armor. He can't lie. Angel has met him at some time. So? No huge questions there, nothing really interesting enough to warrant exploration during one of the last five episodes.

If we had a season six then maybe. If we had twelve episodes to go, then maybe. Personally I'd like the last few hour of Angel to focus on the main cast. There isn't a lot of time left. Buffy the Vampire Slayer made the mistake of wasting far much too much time in it's last season on the Potentials and I'd hate to see Angel make the same mistake.

'Sides, Kate was kind of blah.

Kate was kind of Blah??? !!! Grrrr... No wait, we Angelphiles believe in redeeming the irredeemable. I'm not going to give up on you 🙂

Speaking of which, I haven't given up on Dana. Willow pulled Buffy out of catatonia in about 10 minutes of air time. I have faith in the Scoobs.

And Drogyn... Did you notice he's played by the guy who played Mua D'ib in the Dune television miniseries? Apparently he's going to play Baranabas Collins in the upcoming Dark Shadows series. You wouldn't go to the trouble of hiring this guy unless you planned to give him some work. In television he's a name actor. My prediction: Drogyn will be back.

Sahjan: Even I don't think they'll have time to resolve that one this time around - Pity.

Gotta go night nights now. I'll save your soul some more for you tomorrow. 😉

I want to know the answer to questions 2 to 7. I don't really care to much for Psycho-Slayer-gal we've only met once.

I think the only one that interests me is the whole Shanshu prophecy as well as the prophecy "father will kill son". He did kill him, but did Conner really die? I mean he is living in a "fake" alternate dimension so maybe the prohpecy is still to unfold.
As for Shanshu, it was mentioned, but that has been one of the main storylines for all the seasons, so we will all wait and find out.. will Angel become human?

And Gwen! They just like, abandoned her character, she could definetly make a comeback and use her powers to help fight alongside the Fang Gang.

I think the Shanshu thing is more a "main core of Angel" kind of question, and not a secondary puzzle concerning the supporting characters.

I would expect the Shanshu mystery to be addressed before the finale, if not outright resolved. The others I'm not so sure of.
