The way I read that it was more of a playful nip, but as the guy is so thick he said it was a bite. So now if he gets bitten by a dog their lawyer will shut his claim for damages down really quickly.

Clearly, the fact that this was obviously a minor wound, plus the shark was a wild animal on public property contributed to his decision. If someone's dog had bitten him with the exact same severity, he would have rushed immediately to the hospital, if not called for a helicopter medevac, just to have medical proof when he sued the dog's owner.

Mate, I had a friend who was bitten by a shark in school swimming lessons... It was just as cool as it sounds lol. You can still claim shark bite even if it was a wobbegong 😉

@genghiskhan I know a place where they follow you if you wear a white bikini 😉 OH! I just realised I can claim swimming with sharks now! 😀

I am watching Bondi Rescue and the difference between sandgropers and sydney siders is obvious... Poor sydney has so many more tourists, their lack of common sense must wash off into the water on to other people. This show is making me nervous about starting swimming again for the summer, I think I am losing my beach know-how watching so many with so little. Maybe I'll start back at the city beach, where the shark nets are (even though they are more like shark traps, at least someone will notice the big ones!)
