Okay so here is a fic I have only just started. thoughts and comments would be muchly appreciated thanks!

Set 2 and a half years after NFA. Everyone is a little younger though. Buffy is only 23 as is Xander and Willow, Dawn is 18. Buffy shares a house (mansion) with the scoobies. And there are a few more surprises in store!

Chapter 1

Angel watched as she confidently strolled through the airport in her heels and short little black dress which showed off her tiny figure. As she walked her sun kissed, blonde hair shone in the light. She smiled, showing her beauty and radiance to its full extent completely oblivious to the heads that she was turning. How someone could looks so amazingly beautiful and not notice was something of a mystery to him. Suddenly she dropped a pile of papers as a man ran to her aid. As he stood up a look of disbelief spread across the young girls face.
Buffy: "Riley?!?!"
Riley Finn smiled at the beauty that stood before him.
Riley: "Buffy. You look great! WOW!"
Buffy grinned and twirled showing off her body to its full extent.
Riley: "Did I say wow? Cause WOW! How are you? What have you been up to?"
Suddenly Buffy phone rang. Shooting Riley an apologetic look she grabbed her cell phone from her handbag.
Buffy: "Hello this Buffy Su"¦.. She did what? You have got to be kidding me. I don't know what to do. Look Xand don't panic I'll be there soon. Just make sure she doesn't touch anything."
Buffy flashed Riley a quick smile as she put her phone back in her pocket.
Buffy: "I've gotta go! Umm it was good to see you! Maybe you and Sam could drop by sometime and catch up. Here's a business card."
Riley opened his mouth to speak but stopped when Buffy turned around to walk away. Looking down at the card a smile spread across his handsome features that had changed over the years.

Buffy pulled into the driveway and walked up the steps of the mansion. As she came through the door a little face came running toward her crying. Buffy knelt down and scooped her daughter into her arms, stroking her blonde hair from her beautiful face. Xander walked into the room looking at Buffy and the little girl who had apparently cut herself on an axe.
Xander: "Will did a healing spell. I'm really sorry Buffy I didn't mean to"¦"
Buffy gave Xander a reassuring smile as she looked into the eyes of her 18 month old.
Buffy: "It's okay. She's not dead, I think!? And besides it's not like she's even gonna remember it. She's still gonna love you."
Buffy walked over to Xander and gave him a kiss on the cheek, as she handed him Lucy. Who had aleady cuddled into his arms.
Buffy: "See. She loves you just as much as I do."
 
Well, well...Xander landed Buffy, huh? Well alright!

get ready for a few more Surprises

Chapter 2
Buffy climbed out of bed to find the man she loved missing. Slowly she walked downstairs to find everyone already awake in the kitchen.
Willow: “Hey Buffy.”
Buffy: “Hey guys. Where is..?”
Willow: “oh he had to go to work early he said he’d see you there.”
Nodding Buffy walked over to where Lucy sat in her high chair slinging food wildly around the room. Buffy kissed her gorgeous little girl’s blonde curly hair and beamed. It had been almost a year ago that Buffy and gang has helped Angel rebuild Angel investigations, giving them all a job and purpose in life. Grabbing a piece of toast and sticking it in her mouth Buffy grabbed Lucy out of her chair.
Buffy: “C’mon Lu. You get to go to work with mummy.”
Buffy moved over to where her sister sat and also gave her a kiss.
Dawn: “Be good.”
Dawn rolled her eyes at Buffy.
Dawn: “You know Buffy I am 18! 18!!!!!”
Buffy grinned. It was weird to think that over the past 4 years she had raised a beautiful, caring and loving human being. And even more weird was the fact that her sister no longer needed her help to survive.
Buffy: “Ok bye Will. I’ll see you at work!”
Willow nodded looking up from the morning paper and showing Buffy the front cover.
Willow: “Looks like we may have some extra work ahead of us.”
Buffy looked at the headline and tossed the paper back to her old friend before running to her car.

Buffy pulled into the car park of the Hyperion and walked to the front door before racing back to the car and grabbing Lucy. Buffy charged through the doors, everyone’s heads rose to stare at her. Before anyone could say move or say anything Lucy began to cry uncontrolably. Exchanging glances with Angel, Buffy grabbed Lucy’s bottle.
Buffy: “C’mon Lucy. Please stop crying.”
Seeing the frustration on the young mother’s face Xander raced over to Buffy and swept the little girl into his arms. Buffy gave him a thankful glance as he walked into the office baby still in his arms. Buffy walked over to where Angel sat and tried to give him a smile as she handed him the paper. Looking down Angel nodded towards the door.
Angel: “Looks like they needed help.”
Buffy turned her head to see Riley standing in the doorway.
Buffy: “Riley….”
Just then crying echoed throughout the hotel as Lucy came running out and jumping into her mummy’s arms followed by Xander who stood in the door of the office.
Xander: “I’m sorry Buff she wouldn’t stop crying she only wanted her mummy.”
Nodding, Buffy lifted up her girl into her arms much to the surprise of Riley.
Riley: “You have a daughter.”
Buffy looked at the tiny figure that was crawled up in her arms.
Buffy: “Last time I checked.”
Riley looked from Buffy to Xander who was filling up a baby bottle.
Riley: “You had a baby with Xander?”
Suddenly the look on Buffy’s face changed as she let out a short breath.
Buffy: “What? No? Why does everyone always make assumptions? Xander is Lucy’s favorite uncle. Angel is her dad.”
Even more shocked Riley spluttered on.
Riley: “You and Angel? Vampire’s can’t have children.”
This time Angel spoke breaking the silence that he had before held.
Angel: “Gee Riley then I guess it’s a good thing that I’m not a vampire. Too bad though. I guessed you were thinking of getting back with my wife.”
Before another word was spoken Angel walked towards buffy and grabbed a crying Lucy out of her arms.
 
This is really good Jess. The whole Buffy and Xander thing is kinda weird but I like it. The surprises keep on coming. I cant wait to find out the story behind Angel and Buffy having a daughter. And also ANGEL HUMAN??!! Keep writing please 😀

OMG I love you... I just love bangel.. you have just bought the ship back!!! AS much as i love spuffy im also a huge bangel shipper... as Angelsbaby said.. if you stop this one.. i will hunt you down and make you write more!!!
 
This chapter is dedicated to CS whose friendship and encouragement has given me much joy.

Chapter 3-
Riley glanced at Buffy’s hand sure enough there they were, a very large diamond ring and golden wedding band sat on Buffy’s finger as if it was made just for her. Riley glanced at his own finger and the absence of a ring. He didn’t know what he had expected to happen. Of course Buffy had moved on from him, after all she never came after him but he thought something was there. Last time he was in Sunnydale there was a spark, hope that maybe she did really love him after all. That spark was enough to make Sam leave him, that spark was what brought him here, to her. Before another word could be spoken someone came running through the doors shouting out in pain. Spike looked up at everyone and smiled.
Spike- “Sorry I’m late I had a little trouble getting out and about today is all.”
Spike spotted Riley and rolled his eyes.
Spike- “Oh bugger. Am I the only one that sees nancyboy here?”
Buffy gave Riley an apologetic look before turning to Spike.
Buffy- “Gee Spike your power of observation always manages to surprise me.”
Spike- “Fine I’ll rephrase that. Am I the only one here who wants to bunch soldier boy her in the face?”
As the words were spoken Angel immediately raised his hand. Spike turned to face Buffy a triumphant look on his face.
Spike- “See hubby here doesn’t like him either. So can someone please tell me why we haven’t kicked him out yet?”
Buffy-“Gee Spike wanna tell me why we keep you around?”
Spike fell silent and looked at the floor. Buffy could tell she had hurt his feelings and moved closer to comfort him but he quickly stepped away.
Buffy- “Spike I didn’t… I’m sorry.”
Spike nodded at Buffy as Riley watched on in wonder. Things had changed so much. Although Spike was still sarcastic towards him there seemed to be something different about him that Riley couldn’t quite put his finger on. Shaking the thought out of his head Riley turned to Buffy once more, her beauty seemed to radiate throughout the room.
Riley- “I have to go. I’ve got a debrief in 10 minutes.”
Buffy moved over to Riley and embraced him in her arms as she had longed to when she had last seen him.
Buffy- “Take care of yourself.”
Riley smiled, it felt good to have Buffy’s arms around him if even for a moment. Turning slowly Riley Finn walked out of the door to the offices and drove of out of sight. Angel walked over to Buffy and kissed her softly on the forehead savouring every second.
Buffy- “Let’s get to work people. We have 3 dead people and if we don’t get moving there’s going to be more.”

Chapter 4

Buffy took charge of the situation and organised everyone into pairs. Looking at her watch Buffy glanced at Willow who had arrived not 5 minutes before hand.
Buffy:"Will where's your better half?"
Willow looked around noticing that her fiancee had yet to arrive.
Willow:"I don't know. I swear Buffy..."
As if finishing her sentence for her Oz strolledd into the room casually and gave Willow a quick but grntle kiss and looked up at Buffy.
Oz:"Hey."
Buffy smiled at the happy couple that stood there exchanging smiles. In all the years they had been seperated and despite the many ways in which they had evolved it was great to see that their love for each other had never changed. Oz was still the same guy he had been in high school with a little more wisdom and he had managed to bring out a side in Willow which they thought had been lost forever.

Oz had once told Willow that one day down the track fate would bring them together when the time was right and it had. Willow had broken up with Kennedy shortly after the hellmouth had been closed. Kennedy was too jealous and controlling and things had exploded wiping away any chance the pair had of a loving committed relationship. With her new found freedom Willow decided to travel the world and find out more about the power she had recently aqquired, instead of finding answers she found Oz and discovered that her love for him was still the same as it had been all those years ago.

Buffy looked up shaking her mind and exiting the trance and continued to watch Willow and Oz. Buffy felt Angel's arms wrap around her stomach as she turned to face him smiling and staring deep into his soulful eyes. Angel stroked her soft rosy cheek as she leaned into it. Slowly Buffy pulled her own arms around Angel neck and kissed him softly on the lips. Breaking aprat for only a second Buffy proclaimed her love for him before he pulled her into another sweet tasting kiss.
Dawn:"Gross."
Buffy turned to see Dawn walk into the room and give Buffy a playful wink.
Dawn: "You called?"
Buffy slowly stepped out of Angel's arms and moved towards her sister.
Buffy:"I did. I need you to look after Luce while we go and hnt down this new bad."
Buffy could tell Dawn was upset that she wasn't being asked to join in on the monster hunt but knew Dawn would forgive her. Dawn nodded slowly and walked over to Xander who was holding her young niece. Dawn pulled Xander into a kiss and Buffy smiled a little. It had been almost a year now since Dawn and Xander had gotten together and although at first the relationship was a cause for much argument betweeen the Summers sister Buffy had learned not only to except it but love it. She loved the way they loved each other much like the way has loved Angel. Buffy grabbed her coat and headed for the door everyone bar Dawn following her lead.
Buffy:"Be careful. Oh and call me if anything happens. Her bottle is in the fridge and..."
Angel smiled he of all people knew how anxious Buffy got when she left her daughter if even for a minute. The whole time Buffy was doing work in England she had continued to ring the house at least 5 times a day to check in on Lucy and Angel.
Angel:"C'mon Buffy."
Angel ushered Buffy out the door before she could bark anymore instructions at Dawn. The pair kissed again as Angel snatched the keys off of Buffy.
Buffy:"Hey I was going to drive."
Angel shook his head.
Angel:" Have you seen the way you drive?"
Buffy went quiet and moved around to the passengers side and soon they were off.
 
Chapter 5 dedicated to me cause I think me deserves it!

Buffy swung the axe around while barely managing to dodge an attack from one of the many demons she was facing. Buffy ducked as Willow went flying across the room Oz running to her side. Dusting a vamp just in front of her Buffy moved on to the lead demon that was mocking Angel. Buffy went to slice it when it grabbed hold of the axe. Buffy moved to kick it as it took hold of her leg before swinging her abouve it's head and tossing her to the floor. Wincing slightly as she got up Buffy was more determined then before to kill the demon that had started this whole thing.
Buffy: "See now I'm angry."
Buffy took a run up and faked a left before sweeping behing the demon and slicing it's head clean off.
Buffy:"And now I'm just disgusted."
Buffy dropped her axe to the floor as a puss like substance ozzed over it. Looking around Buffy saw that the group had almost won. One last vampire tried to make a run for it but Buffy picked up the slime covered axe and soon enough it was dusted.
Xander: "Well that was somewhat distrubing."
Buffy looked down at her shoes and grimaced as she noted the slime that was sliding down them. Before moving over to Angel and kissing him.
Buffy:" You know you'd think that I could go on one job and not completly ruin a $200 pair of shoes."
Angel raised his eyebrows as he looked at Buffy;
Angel:"$200?"
Buffy: "That were on sale for 50? Hey who's for heading back to the Hyperion and getting some more work done?"
Buffy made her way to the car without even waiting to hear an answer. Oz helped Willow up slowly as Xander and Gunn made their way to the Jeep opening the door and helping Willow inside. Angel got into the other car and turned on the engine looking at Buffy who was avoiding his glance.

Faith walked through the dorrs of the Hyperion spotting Dawn with the baby.
Faith- "Hey Dawn. Where is everyone?"
Dawn looked up and found it hard to hide her shock.
Dawn: "Faith?"
Faith smirked and moved to sit on the top of the reception desk.
Faith: "Chill Dawnie. I know I'm not supposed to be here but I thought that big sis might not mind so much. I mean I'm practically part of the family."
Dawn put the Lucy in her portable cot and moved over to stamd in front of Faith.
Dawn:" What are you doing here you're meant to be in..."
Faith: "Jail? Funny story I got out. Relax it's called parole Dawn geez. Anybody would think that I didn't return to the good side. What you don't like me anymore."
Dawn took a breath and moved closer to Faith.
Dawn:"It's not that it's just.. I don't think Buffy's gonna like you being here she's kinda mad at you."
Faith rolled her eyes and pulled out a box of cigarettes from the back pocket of her tight leather pants, offering one to Dawn who declined.
Faith:" B is just gonna have to deal I mean that whole thing with Spike was just a little way to get my groove on. It's not my fault she ditched him after that. Besides I hear things worked out just fine. Look at that cute little pumpkin over there. She wouldn't even exist if I hadn't done the dirty with Spike."
Dawn:"Done the dirty? He had only just proposed to Buffy."
Faith:"And she rejected him with the whole crap about loving him but not being ready for that kind of commitment. She had it coming."
Dawn:"They were still together."
Faith shrugged and jumped off the desk puffing out a cloud of smoke.
Faith:"Look I'm not gonna have this talk with you. Tell B I said hi and I'll drop in later."
With that Faith sweeped out of the hotel leaving Dawn alone with a crying Lucy.
