David was a real dick in this episode! I am glad Kamilla avoided the vote at least, but it does look like that alliance is busted. Mary still looks in a good position to get to the end, especially if she rides that alliance.

Star was great at tribal! Its such a shame she lost her vote or this night may have gone differently. Although probably not considering the outburst.

I really liked Chrissy. She reminded me of old school survivor players. A bit of a hard ass, not a model, some fitness and less social game. But As a player shes the type I love to see on the show. Bit like Noonan on the AU equivalent.

Was that extra advantage specifically for Eva? Thats the kind of thing that makes it all look staged. Im assuming it was for the immunity winner since it was in her bowl. Usually I love seeing them enjoy the food but they were way too grubby and burpy this time, grosses me out a bit and not the kind of reward I want to enjoy my dinner along to. I miss KFC and beer rewards haha. Im glad they have toned down the colour filters a bit this time. The challenge was bright but not like Kenzies season. I duno what they did to the colours that season but it was way too bright.


What did you vote on the basic survival stuff? I'd say that makes for better tv than them being so miserable on the beach and stretching for 90-minute content.

I love that Mary is the last member of her original tribe, considering how much she was on the outs there.

Yes! And I loved how she went down swinging, trying to do some damage to the main alliance on her way out. They've ignored her and Star all season, I suspect because they're not sexy enough.

What did you vote on the basic survival stuff?

I voted to give them stuff, keep the tribes on the same basic footing. And I voted for fewer twists, in favor of more player strategizing.

Usually I love seeing them enjoy the food but they were way too grubby and burpy this time, grosses me out a bit and not the kind of reward I want to enjoy my dinner along to.

Ha, I agree! It's unfair to be judgey when they're starving, but it was gross!

Survivor US: This season is remarkable for the number of people who can't really strategize getting so far in the game. Star has barely been a presence. Eva thinks they can all just stick together and it will be fine. Joe can't see beyond loyalty, until this vote. Mitch hasn't really had much chance.

David has no social intelligence and just wants to kick off the weaker players, as if that's somehow honorable and everyone should accept it. Kamilla was so right when she said he never thinks about the jury. And he tries to bully other alpha males. He complained last week that Kyle was scrambling too much, and now says it's suspicious that Kyle and Shauhin aren't scrambling enough.

Mary, on the other hand, is a good strategist, but erred greatly in trying to dominate the alliance that she was brought into last.

Like Kamillah, I'm not interested in watching Olympic tryouts. I'm so happy to see David leave, with his self-serving, self-important rules about how to play.

I might have to rewatch because I was a bit distracted in this episode. But loved to see David go hahahaha. At first I was like oh this is a guy just trying to get by, if he cant afford a family, no one can - but then I realised how entitled he was! He thought he could get what he wanted just because of his physique! I am a bit evil laughing at the articles saying his girlfriend has left him. As she should, if hes not improving the quality of her life.

Happy to see Joe win immunity. I'm loving Kamilla. Kyles prison story was unexpected, but great to hear. I would love for either of them to win. Mary is playing the shadows, and I wonder how she will progress. If they were smart people would be using Star as a number. Mitch could be a dark horse and one to watch going forward... depends who Joe and Eva land with.

Next episode will be a good one - to see who steps up and takes charge. It will be the time for a real move.

I would be happy to see any of the remaining players win. I'd be really surprised if it were Star, but I like her well enough.

Yeah, David is rather lacking in humility for a guy who lives in an RV. He could have been a real fan favorite, with his background story. I'm so glad I don't have to see his confused, "why won't you do what I want" glare anymore.

I totally zoned out on evas advantage. I knew it was safety without power, but that seems worse than an extra vote. Her hairline freaks me out. I have seen some troubling twitter content from her too so I am really, really not a fan of hers at all. I'd be mad if she won because shes coasted.

Lol Star swimming was wholesome. Shes a cutie. I keep waiting for Mitch to make some kind of big move, but he could be bluffing me. Mary has been on the wrong side of SO many votes, so it would be a disappointment if she wins.

It was just so satisfying that everyone turned on David. So funny!

I agree. It's not her fault that she ended up on winning tribes and hasn't been targeted since the merge, but what has she done? Even her idol was basically handed to her. I only said I'd be fine with her or anyone left winning because I like them all well enough. I haven't seen her X/Twitter, though!

I completely agree, it was just an adorable Mitch and Star moment. I think its better that Star admits she cant swim, rather than being a weak swimmer and saying she can swim. She can obviously keep her head above water, but just isn't going anywhere fast. In previous seasons we have seen people who claim they can swim, and on being chucked in the deep end - had very similar ability to Star. It would be cool for applicants to have that basic life skill goal of swimming as a prerequisite because it is something that is very important to know, especially camping near the ocean.

With this season having such a focus on the Big and Strong Olympic Survivor types - it did make me rethink that they are trying to make the show more inclusive (dorks doing puzzles) so they do need to live up to the all abilities bit if that is what they want to push going forward. Not sure it makes the best tv for us hard core oldschool gameplay fans - but perhaps the shows summer camp direction that I've just accepted it is now.

Oh I am so disappointed ☹️ I really really miss Sai haha.

It started off ok, but now Im sorta at the point where I am fast forwarding through a lot. The chicken song was embarassing.




I watched Celebrity Big Brother UK and loved it, more like the old AU style rather than survivor style which is much better for BB. Im thinking of going back to watch some previous BBUK season as Im not spoiled for any of them and I prefer that game format.

This one was kind of boring. Didn’t care for the “wiggle like a worm” challenge. And the immunity block stacking is overplayed. Time for a new one.

I cant wait to see David and Pavati in AU vs the world. Im not sure if it was filmed before or after Deal or no deal island. Parv said she was a fan of David on DONDI, so did she meet him on the set of AUvthe World or did she just watch AU before?

"Uncle JP" (where did that come from?) said that there's a lot that viewers get to see that players don't, but it works the other way, too. For instance, how all the players were saying Star is a chaos agent and untrustworthy. Until this episode, we saw none of that, and very little of Star, period. I definitely felt Mary deserved more to stay, because we've seen her strategizing a lot.

Now it feels a steamroll to the end for Eva and Joe.

I really hope not! I like both of them, but neither is any good at strategy. I'm with Kamilla that this isn't the Olympics tryouts. Alas that Jeff doesn't seem to feel the same.

Jeff didn't give them enough of a chance to consider taking the deal for rice. Though I would say that more players are at risk now than is typical at this point in a season.

Uncle JP and the rap was odd, maybe thats what the characters mean by chaos haha. Just Bizarre.

I like Mary as a person, she was so good at dealing with Sai, but shes not been a player as much as somehow getting through despite never controlling, or sometimes even knowing, where the votes are going. I hope she has some moves ahead of her. Like she said in tribal, shes just focusing on getting through this tribal. She cant look ahead always being in her position.

I like Kamilla who seems to know exactly where she stands, but this thing with Kyle needs to pay off for her soon.

I'd love Kyle to win. Hes played a well rounded game socially, strategically and physically. Hes an All Star for sure.

I cant see that strong 4 breaking unless Kamilla and Mary can link with Kyle, but that means Mitch will have to be the next to go for that to work.

Okay, so... I didn't love Myles. He got annoying after awhile. I was rooting for Kaelan, and I liked that he was trying to own the things he did behind the scenes, I just think Myles was a better communicator. Kaelan crushed in the physical and he was great socially. He struggled explaining his strategic game. I think Myles was great Strategically but terrible physically and socially.


I cannot WAIT for AU vs the World! I can't wait to get my favorites from US and see how they handle the Aussies because let's be real---the aussies are no joke!

Mary is no Russell Hantz. He caused chaos, but didn't put himself in the center of the maelstrom. She seemed to give up just when she shouldn't have, and did everything possible to ruin her chances. But I still can't believe they didn't vote out Joe! Where is this season's gamesmanship?

I didn't like Eva's gloating over not needing the Knowledge is Power. She was a good candidate to blindside that night, too. But... crickets.

And Survivor camp sushi? 🤢🤮

Well that was entirely predictable. Apart from Davids standing - I did not see that coming. Poor cast trying to muffle their lols. David is the biggest dork, just in the bulkiest wrapping.

Im thinking it may be a Kyle vs Eva ending. Obviously, I want Kyle to win and he would actually be a better poster boy for integrity. Eva has had the whole game handed to her, yet will argue shes worked harder than anyone for it. I will be very surprised if those two arnt in the end (and i hope that I am surprised, otherwise this will be a very boring post merge game)

I liked Mary pointing out that the game isnt about outloyaling. I forget Shahim even exists at all when he is not on the screen. Joe having his little freak out damaged his brand in my eyes. Love love loved Kamillas win. That was a challenge I havent seen before, and its funny that it came down to spelling.

Yeah cant disagree with that at all. I just loved Myles being the unliked underdog and taking it to the end despite it. He wasnt entirely terribly physically, he was excellent at the soccer challenge and won immunity at the time he needed it most. Kaelen seems like a sweet dude who would win if the jury was voting on personality /popularity but it was full of superfans who voted for game play. Still no clue why Morgan wasnt there.

I was rooting for Mary. Joe and Eva have it locked but I’m hoping someone can flip it. Kamilla and Kyle might be able to skirt to the end if they keep up their secret alliance! We will see…

I kind of agree about Eva. I would love it if she got blindsided with all those advantages in her pocket. She was super cocky but she made the right call about not going for the knowledge is power. At first when she was going for it, I told my husband “she’s making a mistake”. And honestly many survivors would have kept going. So there is some good mental strategy there. But she’s been protected by Joe and her story has won sympathy a lot of the time.

I think David was doing it to honor Mary, but it was really about himself, trying to show that he has more integrity. That makes it funny to do for Mary, who was one of the more scheming players.

Just fyi, I'm going to be visiting for the next three weeks, so don't know if I'll get Survivor watched then or not. But I will catch up afterwards if I have to!

I feel like Shauhin should have been given more screen time. He can be very funny, like that whole thing about his beautiful legs! Perhaps he would have been more memorable if we could see more than half his face.🧔 Anyway, I was sorry to see him go, but I enjoyed some serious strategy coming into play. Go Kyle and Kamilla!

Finally, a move! I feel a bit sorry for Shahim, he did not see that coming. And Joe acted all weird towards him on his last day. The mind games felt REAL in this episode.

Overall this season is a long way from the worst of it, it just had a boring run for a few episodes. Until this one! I didnt think Kyle and kamillas plan would work. I thought Joe would see through it, but he seems paranoid as hell now. The last episode and this one made me feel like he's losing it a bit.

So now from here its shaken up, there are options, but I wonder how they will handle Eva with the idol. Its been a waste to give her the advantages, cos she hasnt used them at all! Far cry from Myles in AU, who used everything at every chance he had. I understand now why they kept Mitch for so long, he's likeable but has done nothing much in comparison to whos left. I just hope Kyle and kamilla dont turn on each other too soon... give us at least one more vote, two if possible! Already the finale next week, they have been saying top 9 top 8 top 7 top 6! It slowed it down and now its sped right up and is almost over 🙁 Not an unusual pattern for the show though.

On the slide challenge/reward I wondered what they would have done had Star still been in at that stage! She might have drowned! It did seem dangerous to do that on a stormy ocean but I guess they were pretty protected by a reef there. Was a dumb move to take Joe on reward.
