Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Who's seen it yet?
I SO have. It was brilliant. I've never seen the stage production, so who knows, it may be better, but I doubt it.
Anyways, Johnny Depp was amazing. Helena Bonham Carter was utterly fabulous. You yearned for her to do the right thing the entire time. Pure <3 for that woman.
Also, an appearance from Sacha Baron Cohen? I was pleasantly surprised. His character was quite a departure from Borat in some ways, and in some ways, not so much.
Also, look out for the likes of Alan Rickman who is also brilliant in it.
(Am I correct in assuming that Keira Knightley is the ONLY British actress NOT to appear in a 'Harry Potter' film? There were three in this movie.)

All in all, I loved it. I hopefully will be seeing it again soon.

saw it last night. Got to fill out a ballot because the studio wanted to know what the audience thought. (went to theater right in times square, love living in NYC we get to do cool stuff!). Thought it was great too! I'm not the biggest fan of Helena Bonham Carter but i actually really liked her in this!!!

And yes, because of Alan Rickman playing along side the guy who played Wormtail... I couldn't stop thinking of them as Snape and Wormtail lol. My boyfriend and I were joking about it through the movie.

But just utterly fun! And very gory but in an over the top sort of way. And very funny too, got great laughs from the audience.

Yeah, definatly loved it.
