Switching ships

Mhm, I started liking Buffy/Angel once.. that was a weird couple of hours...

Oh, and from Cordelia/Xander to Anya/Xander... But well, that's more natural I guess..

I used to be a Xander/Cordy, but obviously changed to Xander/Anya... It's really not because I liked X/A more, it was really quite alike... Anya has a lot of Cordy's qualities, like saying what's on her mind... Anya's just a little more free about it 😛

(Awww Cute :infatuati )

Yaaaay for Anya! :D Woooo!
I used to be Spike/Buffy but now I'm all for Angel/Buffy. Angel's so much cutier!😀 And I also went to Oz/Willow to Tara/Willow. I guess it's just natural for most people to change who they like as the show goes on or as a person learns more about the other characters and grow to like them.

i was a spuffy person for like...an episode. i also went from xander/anya, to spike/anya and from xander/cordy, to xander/faith for some reason....

Buffy season five was my intro to the show and I really liked the Spuffy stuff. But then I started watching the early Buffy episodes with Bangel and I switched over to Bangel with the kind of Spuffy stuff we got in season six.

I started out to like Bangel, but then grew to like Spuffy as it was more realistic and relatable. It's just my opinion, but a relationship without the physical intimacy for me, just isn't a relationship.

I also loved Cordy/Xander at first because of the whole angsty thing they had going on, but then grew to really like Cordy/Angel because of what had developed from their friendship.

Aah a woman after my own heart...on BOTH counts. I also started of Bangel but them came to appreciate the intricacies of the Spuffy relationship..how it felt so real to me.

And I've always been a big fan of Cordy/Xander. Not quite a fan of the Cordy/Angel...well I DID like the idea of them....and I didn't...lol it's a double-edged sword for me! 🙂

I think that most of us started of Bangel.... that's all we had.

I will admit, that yeah... I did like the relationships up until the middle of season three. (*Slaps hand against forehead). Then I began hating their relationship...can't touch, whining, etc.

Then I just kinda floated. Buffy/Riley didn't really bother me. I dealt with it. But then season five.... Crush and then Intervention.... that's when it all started. Hello Spuffy.

Die hard since then.

I asked because I was for Bangel all seven seasons and all 5 for angel but I just read Spike's thing from Touched and realized I was getting emotional over Spuffy and that I actually liked them. It was weird. I'm still more for B/A though.

I have always been Bangel.. but for a while I went through a time of liking Spuffy.. oh how that ship has sailed!!

My core shipper-y-ness resides in Cangel, but I can kinda see the cute puppy love in Bangel. I used to despise Buffy, though, so I think I've grown.

Anyways, yeah. To answer your question, no. I'm, and always will be, a Cangel. I will go down with that ship.

hmmm i started out liking bangel and i still love bangel as well as willow/ oz, spike/Dru, Fred/Gunn the only thing i changed was going from loving Xander/Willow to Xander/Anya lol throughout the whole 7 years that was the only thing that changed i think i'm one of the weird ones who like the original kinda ships lol

Cordi and Angel always seemed weird and forced to me. Like the writers were running out of ideas. Illogical too, with the potential danger of the curse and all. Though, of course, romantic love is not logical. They almost seemed like a bickering brother and sister to me at times, so that upped the creep factor.

There's a rumour that the WB told the Angel writers the lead has to have a love interest and Joss said he never wanted that to happen because it wouldn't make sense.

I enjoyed Angel and Cordelia's relationship. It didn't have that overwrought emotion that tainted both B/A and B/S.

Nope, nope nope! I started watching in Season 4 (got all caught up with online transcripts) so I never had the emotional attachment to Bangel. I've sailed the Good Ship Spuffy-pop since Pangs. I liked Riley, really I did, but not for Buffy...for me!!!!! (mmmmm, Riley Finn....*drool) I did switch from Oz/Willow to Tara/Willow somewhere around Who Are You? but it didn't really take root as my favorite ship EVER until Forever.
