T-SCC Cameron bleeds?

I wonder why a machine would bleed. All she has covering her mechanics is flesh. So why does she bleed? Or am I missing something?

ew.. And you're right it is living flesh so there would be some blood, just not alot.. I think.

And the scene where he cuts away part of the flesh on the arm to demonstrate it being just a covering.

It may not be blood, chemically speaking, even though it might mimic the appearance they might still need a thermal regulation liquid or a blood derivative with synthetic nutrients and some metal based compounds, mimicking a circulatory system solves both problems.

As for the food, a simple internal sealed off chamber with high viscosity acids would reduce the material to small molecules, far harsher than our digestive system but still.

If you watch the pilot, I have a scar on my face. I can't remember which side it's on. While we were at the shooting range, one of the shells jumped back and got stuck in my face. I had to pull it off, and it burned a hole in my skin. And then during the pilot, Dave Nutter, who is the director of the pilot, said let's not cover it up, let's just leave it, so you can see it in the pilot.
