T.V. Movies?????

Are they going to make those TV movies? anyone know?
I really hope so, but knowing the WB, they'll screw us over on those too. 🙁 DAMN YOU WB!!!
 
I would seriously doubt we will be seeing any TV movies. Maybe if the money was there, but that's not very likely to happen. There will be more buffyverse to whet your appetite, but I doubt we will see anything substantial in the next year. There might be another spin-off, possibly some more games, comics, cartoons, and most probably a feature film(or series of features). Joss has always expressed that he wants to make features. When Firefly was axed, he relentlessly sought out to make it into a film. The Buffyverse has progressed to the point now where a feature film franchise is not only possible, but inevitable. Just don't expect to see it for at least 2-3 years. Joss is busy right now with Serenity.
 
There are no TV movies in the works for next year nor is there likely to be. DB has said repeatedly in interviews that he would only consider revisiting the role of angel in a feature film. As far as it going to feature film I wouldnt say its very likely. Another spin off is your best bet.
 
I think it's totally likely. If Joss can get financial backing for a film based upon a relatively unknown tv show like firefly that lasted for like half a season than why not Buffy? Buffy is a vehicle that has a huge amount of people who are gauranteed to go out and watch any film base on it, and that's the kind of thing that would have movie execs salivating. He has also expressed that he wants to continue on in the Buffyverse. Also he has always said that he wants to do(and has always wanted to do)movies. All the actors are saying that they want to make movies now. If a Buffy movie was made, it's doubtfull it would have any kind of substantial budget, but I could totally forsee them getting upwards of 10 - 20 million as a budget. That's not a hefty amount of money in movie terms, but hey a 1 hour Angel ep was being produced for a tenth of that amount. And that show had the look of a movie already. I'm not saying that it's going to happen, but I would say that it's closer to likely than unlikely. Just look at Joss' track record. TV show gets cancelled...he get's pissed off...he makes a movie. We've already gone through two of those 3 steps already. He could make it in Vancouver to save a few bucks :: teeth :
 
Yeesh, have we not discussed this topic to death? There is NO tv movies planned. NONE. The WB has approaced Joss with the idea, and he said he might want to do it. The problems right now include: DB not wanting to do tv movies + all the crew/actors have new jobs. Joss said he is NOT interested in bringing Buffy to movies. There we have it.
 
I really hope they make a movie..TV movie or a real movie, I don't care... I just need more buffyverse!! 🙁 Is there any talk of spin-offs? Wasn't there something about a Willow spin-off somewhere?
 
I totally think that the TV movies won't happen. But I don't doubt that there will be a Buffy or Angel movie somewhere down the line. It wouldn't happen for at least a couple years but I think that it will happen.
