Did you know that Tabula Rasa is Giles and Spike's last episode interaction with each other until Lies My Parents Told Me?
 
Well, it makes sense--Giles left after that episode, and then Spike was gone when he returned at the end of season 6. Giles was gone again when Spike returned in the beginning of season 7. The two of them weren't in the same room between those two episodes, considering that when Giles returned in season 7, Spike was pretty much tied up in the basement, until LMPTM.
 
Well honestly, there isn't a whole lot of room and/or reason for Spike and Giles to interact in the show. Their characters aren't close, so there's really no reason for them to be in a scene together or have a one-on-one interaction unless it propels the story further.
