Raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association and The Entertainment Community Fund, the readings will be held August 26.

Cult classic television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer is headed back Off-Broadway for one night only.

Hot on the heels of the sold-out engagements of "Once More With Feeling" and "Welcome To the Hellmouth,” the episode "Tabula Rasa" will be presented in a staged reading format August 26 at 7 PM and 9 PM to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association and The Entertainment Community Fund, honoring the episode’s memory loss plotline. Staged at Brooklyn's The Rat NYC, each performance will be followed by multiple rounds of Buffy the Vampire Slayer trivia, with prizes for winning teams.

Following the critically acclaimed musical episode "Once More With Feeling,” "Tabula Rasa" follows the Scoobies after the music fades away and the dancing stops. When a spell goes haywire, the gang finds themselves without their memories, with only context clues to figure out who they are, how they're connected, and what they're fighting. Meet Joan the Vampire Slayer, Randy Giles, and your favorite “Loan Shark” as Sunnydale flips upside down.

This reading of "Tabula Rasa" will star Oren Alperin, Laurie Beckoff, Lauren Cagnetta, Emily Enden, Susanna Guffey, Margaret Hall, Ali Regan, Rachel Robins, Derek Sherry, Allison St. Rock, and Johnny Vorsteg.
