Which Willow? (heh, witch...)

Season 7 Willow or beyond, (S9- god stomping Willow!) or season 3 Willow and her floaty pencil of death.
Either way I'd give it to cute, likeable Willow and not arrogant, veiny Willow- on a purely emotional level.

Angel vs. Angelus? If it were a standup fight Angel easily. (as we saw in 'Orpheus' he handed him his ass whilest giving Faith a motivational speech.) but Angelus is more threatening when he's sneaky.
But given that Angel would know that, I'd still bet on Angel for the win.

Score two for the good guys, imo. 🙂
 
I'm the opposite as thetopher, I say both DW and Angelus are superior than their counterparts. Why is that? Well neither DW not Angelus ever hold back, they are physically and mentally at their strongest. Both Angel and Willow have no choice but to hold back their true powers (less so Willow past s7, but on the show she very much holds back), so I think they would lose.
 
I feel like Angelus + anybody would pretty much defeat anyone - the only way to defeat him is to turn him back into Angel, really.

Swapping opponents might give Willow and Angel enough of an edge to win the day. Angelus, as far as we know, hasn't had very much, if any, experience dealing with practitioners of magic. She could set up some sort of ambush for Angelus and take him out from a distance, before he could get close enough to harm her. While that's going on, Angel could try and distract Dark Willow until Willow could show up, then they could take Angelus on as a team.

Notice, I said "might." It would all depend on Willow taking Angelus out before Dark Willow dusted Angel. If Willow could take Angelus out quickly enough to be able to come to Angel's aid, she might be able to take out Dark Willow while Dark Willow was still concentrating on Angel and before she even realized that Willow was attacking.

Once again, the key element here is "might."
 
Interesting to see that most think Angelus is the power player here. For me it would definitely be Dark Willow. Even Buffy couldn't go near her and Buffy has beaten Angelus fair and square. I think the only advantage that Angelus has is that he is smart. But DW, she could annihilate everyone with a snap of a finger.
 
I feel like this scenario would invariably culminate with Angelus stabbing Dark Willow in the back...
