Take a Whedonverse actor and put them in "Firefly"!

If you could take any Whedonverse actor from BtVS, "Angel", or "Dollhouse" and put them in "Firefly", who would you choose and what kind of roll would you give them?


I would like to see Nicholas Brendon on "Firefly" as a former Alliance soldier who has gone AWOL and joins forces with the crew of Serenity to kick ass. It would have been a nice departure from the comedy we saw from him on BtVS, and maybe he could have been a nice little competition for Simon with Kaylee.

Either that, or Eliza Dushku as a feminine version of Jayne's character who ends up befriending Mal and working with him on missions on occasion.

Amy Acker. She has the potential to be a character in the show

Eliza Dushku as a baddie against and trying to locate and capture River Tam. The catch is ELiza has had the same training and mental input as River!

I would LOVE to have seen Amber Benson in Firefly/Serenity. I could totally see her as a captain of another ship or something, having a fun rivalry with Mal. Maybe she could be someone he knew when they were young or that he was once involved with. I'd love to have even seen Jayne have a crush and making a fool of himself, haha.

 

[Washburne]

Enver Gjokaj as an old friend of Wash. Although in all fairness as long as he got a big enough part I don't really care who he'd play.

 

[Robb Stark]

Fran Kranz from Dollhouse and Cabin in the Woods. I find him just hilarious. I'm not even really sure where he'd fit in on the Serenity, but I'd love to have him there. Heck, I'd take him pretty much exactly like he is in Dollhouse, the geeky computer expert. I just love his humor.

I also find Tom Lenk really funny (I know he's despised by a lot of people though, even if I can't figure out why). I could see him as the cook on Serenity, with pretty much the same character traits as every role he's in.

Amber Benson as a Saloon owner (kinda like Marion in Indiana Jones) who becomes a love interest for Mal. I reckon those two would have good chemistry and I'd like to see Amber play a confident & tough chick serving whiskey and being in the know about heists that are going down
