If you could go back and re-watch any particular scene or moment from either series for the first time, which one would that be and why? Whether it be for shock value or just pure enjoyment.

I would have to say Something Blue when the spell comes over Buffy and Spike - one of the first moments I realised I loved Spuffy. I just remember the shock and excitement I had. After many re-watches that initial feeling has gone.

Oh man, if I could I would just rewatch the whole series for the first time, no spoilers, no nothing.

But if I had to choose one scene, it'd be Tara's death. As much as I hate that scene, I remember it being the thing that gave me the biggest shock throughout the series. I was speechless for days, not knowing what was happening.

If I had to choose a happier scene, it'd be watching Chosen again for the first time. Because when you don't over-analyse Chosen, it really is an amazing finale, and I remember just thinking how epic it was. Now that I've seen it so many times, I've gotten more critical of it, I can't enjoy it like I did the first time (even if it's still one of my favorites).

I've said this before, and with absolutely no sarcasm or pro-Spuffy attitude involved, the "Close your eyes" scene at the end of Season 2 is, in my opinion, one of the most dramatic, best scenes in either series. It chokes me up every time that I see it.

Another personal favorite is from "Once More With Feeling," when Spike, having decided to help Buffy, winds up in a blind alley. Also, the final scene in that same episode. I swear, I can still hear the Bangels hissing in the background.

white avenger,

It's okay, we got it all back on Twitter today :jumping04

To the OP...jeez, that's tough. I'd probably go with Buffy and Angel's first kiss in "Angel". It had been building and I remember loving that scene. Still do.
