Tales Of Future Slayers

THE TWO SWORDS

After facing the oppositions army Holly Marie began to accept within herself that she would not see another day. Though she smiled too herself deciding to make herself proud, there was nothing she would allow for her to die with grace. She would lead the charge against the enemy, everyone would see her, everyone would remember they saw her, everyone would know she kept brave until the last breath had left her body.

She turned to face her army and called to them should any who felt unfit that any who were injured to lay down their weapons and walk to the top of the hill. Holly Marie brought the very essence of her pride to bear and lifted her sword from its sheath. About to charge she saw movement on the front lines of the enemy army, not knowing what to expect Holly Marie called her army to arm themselves as she noticed the oppositions leader had moved forward he until he stood halfway between the two armies.

Holly Marie waved her army to wait where it was, she walked to where the leader of the enemy was. When she was close to him Holly Marie asked him what his name is so she would know who to refer to him as.
“My name is Grevoth, I am General Grevoth.”
Holly Maries gaze was interrupted by a brilliant pure light from the side of them.

Both Holly Marie and the leader of the other army faced each other their swords being lifted from the sheaths. They accused each other of trickery while they stared at each other, confused and annoyed by the others pleading of innocence. A dome of light rose from and spread over the ground until it covered the both of them. A voice floated to them from within the light, it told them to put their weapons away as no need for them the voice told them she had caused the light to be.

They looked toward the light, Holly Marie was surprised because she thought she knew the voice.
“Are you my armies Seer?”
The leader of the other army looked to Holly Marie.
“Why do you think she was your seer, she was the seer to my army,” said Grevoth.

They looked at each other, surprised and confused at what was. A voice floated to them but now it held the power of authority it told them that she was never a seer to either of their armies.
“Holly Marie, Grevoth, I guided each of you to bring your armies here whatever their condition.”
Holly Marie and Grevoth looked along the valleys floor and saw their armies walk slowly and cautiously walked towards them.

Tianara walked from the light.
“This is not a trap to either of you, as I said I wanted each of you to be here and choose to be of one army. But before you do choose each of you should know this with both of your armies joined and as one. Grevoth, those of your army who have fallen at the wayside or failed to continue from injury when they were marched here they will be returned to you, alive and unhurt.

And to you Holly Marie, those many brave warriors who fell in your last battle and those who lie injured here or at the last battlefield you could see them again as fit and well. But all of that will only happen if you both say yes.”
Holly Marie looked to her.
“Who are you?” Grevoth added more of the same.

The woman in the light refused to reply until they had both agreed to join. “If you both walk towards me, I will take it that you are saying yes, that your armies are to be as one, then I can tell you and show you who I am. Grevoth looked to Holly Marie, he put his sword back in its sheath, he faced his army and walked towards Tianara. Holly Marie looked at her army those who could do battle and those on the hill; she considered the injured that their injuries would be healed that the dead would walk again. She went to be at Grevoth’s shoulder. “We agree.”

The glow faded, Tianara began to grin her work there completed the rest would begin. Beginning that day Grevoth and Holly Marie, began a new destiny has begun for you both and for each soldier of your armies, this army will be known as The Two Swords. Tianara could see confusion in their eyes neither could understand what reason there could be for such a name.
“Against each other you each had one sword, now that you are together as one army you have two swords."

When your armies are as one army then Holly Marie will be taken and hidden amongst the ranks of what will be the Riders. Grevoth you will become the general of the soldiers. I will liaise with you, I will not lead you as your guide I do not seek to be your leader for this is the Power That Be’s army. Now know this about me, as I appear to you now I am Tianara, but when I appear like this. Tianara’s whole body became bathed in light.

“As I am now you should know me now as the Goddess Tianara.”
As the light left her she invited both of them to call to their armies, to tell them to join and become friends and have them prepare for the first battle. Where that battle is and who the battle is against, leave that to me as your guide.
As the dome of light ceased to be she disappeared.

Calling the two armies to join together, even though they had just been told Holly Marie and Grevoth were surprised to see those warriors who once had severe injuries were now fit and those who were once dead had returned to life, they walked passed them. That night those of the two armies while it was too soon to form a bond they had become friends. In the early mornings light on the second day an army stood on barren ground. They looked towards a town, built within a wooden fort.

Holly Marie and General Grevoth stood at the head of the now single army army. The Goddess Tianara appeared a few paces in front of them; she faced them and told them of the time that was now. You will no longer fight the tyrants of this world from now you will battle all that is evil. The first battle the army will face will be here against two hundred demons, they form a Legion bigger and more powerful than either of you has ever faced.

Defeat these and the Legion of legions will be smaller, many battles lie over the horizon and many parts of those legions will need to be fought. They are those who protects the Devil’s Son, believe the Two Swords can win as those you face here have the same weakness, they always believe they can win. She pointed along the ground in front of them at a line it had just appeared in the sand. When you cross this line your clothes will become the battle dress of the Two Swords as designed by Garet.

Holly Marie and Grevoth stepped over the line, as was said their clothes changed they looked down at their battle dress.
“The crossbow over your shoulder is a weapon that Garet has made it will always be ready for use,”
the Goddess looked to Grevoth she had him free his sword and drop it to the ground. He did as he was told, he saw it touch the ground as it did it appeared in his hand. Goddess Tianara invited them to both move one step forward.

As they did they found themselves on a strange ground. They saw in front of them the sunlight had begun to spread its light on walls of a town. Behind them Grevoth and Holly Marie knew that what was once two armies now stood as one army; Gods army, the Two Swords had begun. Hearing a new sound behind her, with Grevoth she turned to see that it was Garet. He had started to slap the leather of his battle dress not knowing why she told him to explain himself.

“This will be the first time I have gone into battle, I need to ready myself.”
Grevoth smiled, he stood as tall as he could and faced the rest of the army he called aloud to them.
“Do as Garet the weapons maker has just done. From this day on the leather being slapped will be our battle cry, one we can all do together as one.” The army began to march forward, as they marched they began to slap the leather, the sound grew louder as more joined in.

The army neared to be within a hundred paces from the town’s walls and each of the soldiers joined them, the army stopped. Horse pulled chariots raced to the walls where the charioteers threw hooks into the walls window portals, returning the attached ropes for other soldiers to pull them, the hooks when pulled free loosened many stones from the wall which caused them to fall to the ground. The portals soon increased in size and became holes in the wall. As more hooks were withdrawn the holes grew bigger.

Demonic vampires that could be seen to be hiding from the suns murderous rays, they tried to catch the people of the town as they ran into the sunlight, they could do nothing to stop the people of the town running to their freedom. When each one of the people were known to have escaped the town. With the Two Swords at the ready, Grevoth raised his sword, a signal for the archers to run to the front. Terracotta urns filled with burning oil were placed at their sides, the archers lit their arrows to send a rain of fire onto the roofs of the town’s buildings.

With broken walls letting the sunlight in and pockets of fire spreading throughout the roofs of the town’s buildings, the vampires ran to try and find safety; to seek any pockets of shade and where the fire hadn’t reached. Holly led the main army’s charge to kill all the vampires that remained there. When she returned from the battle she asked the Goddess where had it gone. Both Grevoth and the Goddess looked to her.
“As I recently said my one sword has become two swords,” said Holly Marie.

The Goddess smiled,
“A sword from each army, as I said this army is the Two Swords,” said the Goddess.
When the demonic vampires had all been attacked and killed the people were allowed to return, one of those people went to speak to Grevoth. His name was Tiberinus, he pleaded with Grevoth to help him get a message to his wife and children.

He said they waited for him at their home where he had a farm. He had chosen to breed a type of horse that was almost extinct. Because of his endeavours he had been successful and had managed to breed them. That is why he had been in town, to try and sell some of them though no one wanted to buy them. Tiberinus faced Grevoth and told they could have the horse if his wife and children were told why he hadn’t returned.
Tianara had heard his plea, she said she help him.

“My house is to the west of here, nestled in the valley after the second hill,” said Tiberinus.
Holly Marie looked to Grevoth
"Where his house lies sounds similar to where our two armies were to have met."
Thankful for their rescue the town’s people celebrated long into the night.

In the mornings light though many of them had a sore head and they were deep in regret at having drunk so much. Tiberinus still waited for news of his wife and children, he placated himself as he wandered aimlessly passed the town’s walls. Then he saw his home, not a hundred paces away. Running to his home, he ran inside the door where he was greeted by his wife and happy children. She hadn’t expected him home until that evening, she asked him if was able to sell what he needed to sell at the towns market?

Tiberinus held Grecia, he felt so lucky that he was with his beautiful wife again. He told her that he did sell what he needed to and he gave the rest of the horses away. He stood outside the door and pointed for her to see the town, he persuaded her to join him and look at where he pointed. He saw many of the townspeople that walked towards the house. His children had done as he asked and excitedly they called to their mother and waved her to join them they pointed to something.

Grecia was perplexed, what had got her children so excited? She went to be by them being stood beyond the door she saw the people of the town coming to her children and to greet her. Unsure how to react she asked her husband how it could be but he had only a tentative answer for her.
“There was one of them who was one, the light within her was so bright it lit the air around her body."

Before he could continue with his story a bright light began to rise from the ground near to the house. There, walking in her majestic brilliance from within the light, a glow still reigned about her body, it was the Goddess Tianara.
Tiberinus stared at her. The Goddess smiled to him.
“It was you who said to contact your wife and children, to let them know of where you were.

When I did get there I saw many animals were about to attack the farm. Your wife and children were very scared, so I left your wife and children in the house and brought it all here. In return you said we could have your new horses; the ones I know of as white unicorns. Know that I have given them wings. Know that they will be cared for, know that they will be the charge for each of The Riders.”
The Goddess knew what needed to be, that many soldiers for the Two Swords would be taken from the armies of the land

many more would be of Godking Aqueion's children from the sea. With God informed he had many be known as Fairy’s and of them many were to be spies, and others were to make circles near to where battles had been, to be a warning. So many had started to be sent from the sea that Godking Aqueion had to set in place one of his favoured sons to watch over all to make sure all the others sent were safe, and that when the special one was presented there and taken she would feel a welcome.

THE TWO SWORDS 2 part 1

During the early first hours of his shift at the Beltone police station Police Constable Steven Rawlings had been making sure that all of the information pamphlet displays were in order in the station’s reception area. He looked at the calendar to make it had the correct date; June twenty ninth, nineteen forty, he even said it aloud to himself just to be sure he heard he was right.

After testing that all the pens were in good working condition he cleaned the receptions counter before wondering what else he could do. He hated those early morning shifts. It would be so long before any member of the general public entered the station. If it was a slow day he would have to spend all his time finding work to do. He had to make it look like he was busy when any of the

senior officers of the station wandered through the reception area. He had to constantly make it look like the reception area of the station was ready for an influx of people in case the station sergeant was on duty. PC Rawlings sat at his desk near the counter and began to doodle on a piece of scrap paper.

He heard the telephone as it started to ring, purposely he let it ring three or four times before he answered it. He wanted people to think he was busy when he did answer the telephone. He tried to sound cheerful, then he waited for a response from the caller repeating himself if necessary; he hoped for a reply. Eventually he heard the caller greet him.

“Hello my name is Henry Newbury.”
PC Rawlings made a note of the person’s name and took his details. The man had said that he thought his wife was missing. PC Rawlings wanted as many details as he could get so he could show the receptions detective exactly what was.

Henry Newbury said that he worked at a bread factory, that he was on the shift work. PC Rawlings made note that the man’s wife had left their home the previous evening as his wife Alison, worked the night shift. When Henry Newbury had looked for her in the morning she still wasn’t there. He said he had rung her work to see if she had left but she wasn’t there.

Henry tried to explain the reason why he’d rung the station was his wife had been missing for sixteen hours. PC Rawlings stated to Henry that the police preferred to wait at least for twenty four hours to pass before listing the person as missing to allow the person time to return home. PC Rawlings looked at what he had written and felt it was right to begin the search.

Alison Newbury was an Order Clerk at the Marhaul Industries Factory. She was twenty six years old, fit and healthy. Henry also stated that there was two men who Alison was friends with, the men’s names were Peter Featheringue and Reginald Farnsworth. He also told PC Rawlings that Alison was the secretary for the local Swandar Ghost Hunters Club,

the club had been named Swandar because one of the original members was doing a project study of Swans in the river Darmer. The club always met on a Friday evening so if a suggestion of where to go was made they would be ready for the week-end. PC Rawlings told Henry to leave Alison’s personal details so that initials calls could be made to confirm her work details.

He said that someone would be in contact with him in a few days. After putting the receiver down PC Rawlings took the information upstairs to the detective’s room, he hoped to see Detective Edwina Rathbone. He found her sitting at her desk in her office filing the reports of a case she had just completed. When he saw Detective Rathbone she looked up and greeted him.

“Morning Steve, what can I do for you on such a lovely day.”
PC Rawlings looked to Edwina she always made him think of a young actress, Margaret Rutherford, that look in her eyes gave him a sensation of warmth yet she also made him think that she was always interested in what he had to say.

He gave her the list of details about the missing woman and waited while she read the list.
“So she’s only been missing for sixteen hours?”
Detective Rathbone looked further down the list,

“this is curious, why are these men’s names here, how are they connected with her, are they anything to do with her disappearance?” She looked at PC Rawlings for an answer.
“When he told me their names I did wonder why he had mentioned them as there was something about the tone of his voice, he didn’t

accentuate that she was missing but he did when he said their names.”
Steve told Detective Rathbone he felt suspicious of the man, he asked if there might have been another man who she had gone to but the woman’s husband hadn’t said about those men’s names that were given, nothing had been spoken of them during the previous six months.

Detective Rathbone looked to Steve, she tried to see a significance in those men’s names but couldn’t.
PC Rawlings told her that there was mention of a haunted house somewhere in South Devon. But he hadn’t pursued that line of questioning to find out if the house was haunted house or if the hauntings were of people in or near the house. PC Rawlings also added that he was of the

opinion that Henry sounded as though he wanted to capture the woman and not to find her. PC Rawling stated he thought the man’s accent was wrong, some of the words were said as though he was trying to hide an accent. Detective Rathbone watched as PC Rawlings left the room, she took the report of the missing woman to detective Sandra Moore in the incident room.

As she walked into the room she noticed the names of two other missing women on the board.
“What’s our Eddy in here for?”
Edwina turned about to see that detective Sandra Moore had been stood behind the door as she walked in.

“I heard that you were doing something similar, about two missing women,” said Edwina.
“This other one I’ve got another one for you that will make it three women suspected as having gone missing and in the last twenty-four hours. The two you have, what do you know about them?” asked Detective Rathbone.

Detective Moore looked too them and to the name Detective Rathbone was writing.
“Only their names at the moment I wasn’t intending to do much until they’d have been missing for a few hours more. But I’m not so sure now, considering yours as well. To just have one missing woman, that would make for an enquiry but two missing women would make that a line of

enquiry that might give me line between the two. Add to them a third missing young woman that just gave us the probability of that line having changed to make a pattern. Any problem I had with my two just grew to umpteen times worse,” said Detective Moore.
Detective Rathbone looked at the names.

“Wendy Rhodes aged twenty-two and Greer Symes aged twenty-four.
Both of the women had gone missing yesterday, just like mine. So add the name and details of Alison Newbury. At age twenty-six, fit and healthy, they are all fairly young. If you have no objections I would like to help you on this one.

My gut it is telling me something else is going on with them, I don’t think this case is going to be as simple as it could be.”
About the words that PC Rawlings said,
“That the husband was trying to hide something.”

One thing they didn’t have to concern themselves with, the area hadn’t been affected by any bombing by the German Luftwaffe.
Both the detectives agreed the first step should be to get some photographs of the missing to see what the women looked like and if needs be they could compare them to see if they had the same hair colour, the same height and width.

“I think it’ll be best if I go to see Wendy Rhodes parents first.”
Of those who were reported as missing her parents were the first report I had,” said Det. Moore, “You should check with the hospitals to see if anyone with their descriptions has been taken there. Though I haven’t heard of anyone fitting those descriptions and while you are gone

I’ll get Mr. Newbury in, I’ll try to find a bit more about his wife Alison Newbury.”
Detective Moore knocked on the door then she waited a step or two from the house outside. The door was answered quickly by Mr. Rhodes his eyes lit up when he saw it was detective Moore.

He asked her if she had heard anything about his daughter. Mr. Rhodes’ hope visibly dropped when he heard no immediate reply.
Detective Moore told him to be like she was, an eternal optimist she was of the opinion that when young women go missing they often return usually after a day or two. She also told him that the reason she was there was at his house was to get a photograph of his daughter.

Mr. Rhodes looked to the house, he said there was a photograph of her in her bedroom.
He said it would only take a few minutes to get the photograph. At the incident room in the station, Detective Rathbone had just finished putting up the photographs she had collected onto the board, she stepped back and looked to detective Moore.

The rest of the station will want to know our progress so we need to be seen to be busy. It looked bad enough before but after getting those names of the other missing women from the other police stations and given that all the women are about the same age. Detective Rathbone looked at the names of the missing. She wondered if there was a lot more going on than they could see,

there was nothing to suggest they were all taken by the same person, male or female. But there is more, those two men’s names were mentioned several times in connection with Alison Newbury Judith Hillsam and Greer Symes, though they had only been mentioned in passing. Edwina thought their names might lead them to find answers though she didn’t think they had any connection to the women

that were being taken from the witches HQ at Stow-In-The-Wold. The reports of the missing women included details many and varied details Detective Rathbone added that if it wasn’t for the names of the two men she would suspect Mr. Newbury, he was a little bit to helpful, it was as though he was somehow involved, but not in a way that would be normally suspected.

Det. Rathbone agreed with Det. Moore, she didn’t feel as though he wanted his wife to return, more so that he wanted the police to find her. Scotland Yard had been contacted to notify them of the missing women, for them to find details of the two men at Beltone Police Station. Scotland Yard was also given the details of other police stations that had learnt of other missing women.

It was at one of those stations that Det. Moore discovered news that each of the women were Ghost Hunters, that they had all arranged to go to a haunted house that was near the town of Beltone. Det. Rathbone looked at the names of the women on the blackboard and hoped to see a connection between the names of Alison Newbury, Wendy Rhodes, Karen Parsons,

Sandra Hillsam, Judith Wyrd and Greer Symes gave her no extra insight other than an oil painting. It was the two men’s names that presented confusion, not in a bad way as the names seemed okay. Reginald Farnsworth and Peter Featheringue, the names gave Det. Rathbone a sensation of warmth. Det. Moore had respect for Det. Rathbone as her instincts were often right.

“All things considered we’ve only been on the case for a day or two. And this case could be a lot worse, that list of those women might be a list of dead women we might have found ourselves on the case of a serial killer,” said Det. Moore. Being interrupted as the telephone started to ring, Sandra answered it, she listened to what was being said then put the receiver down.

“Anything about the case?” asked Edwina.
Sandra looked puzzled.
“That was a policeman from South Devon a town called Beltone he said his name and rank is Sgt. Seams.

He said Scotland Yard had spoken to him so now he knew all of whom we are looking for and if we want to know more about any of them we should meet him tomorrow morning at ten at the entrance to Dartmouth Naval Base. If anything I feel more confused than I was before, how could the Royal Navy be involved? What do you think they have got to do with our missing women?” asked Det. Moore,

“He said he would explain about Peter Featheringue when we met him but he did say that Reg Farnsworth was better known as Brigadier General Reginald Farnsworth, that he is in the Foreign Office and one of a select few in the War Office.”
That night the two detectives traveled to a hotel so they could be outside the main entrance to

Dartmouth naval base at ten in the morning. At just after ten a car drew up next to them the car door opened and a person inside the car asked them for their names. Det. Moore introduced herself and Det. Rathbone. Det. Moore noticed no markings on the car. Sgt. Seams had noticed that Det. Moore looked at various parts of the car.

“Before I can tell you about where we are going and who we are I’ll need you to fill out these forms, I could tell you about who we are before that but then I’d need to kill you. So if you want to know all you need to, sign these and I’ll tell you.”
Detectives Moore and Rathbone stepped backwards.

“I’m sorry ladies but that is the way it is,” said Sgt Seams. Det. Rathbone wanted to laugh but she was a bit unsure, she started to read the forms she had to sign.
“Basically speaking these forms are so that you know not to declare anything so sign the forms then you can get in the car

so we can go there,” stated Sgt. Seams.
Det. Rathbone held a form for Sandra to look at some of the wording.
“What is this, Military Intell. . . M.I.9?” asked detective Moore, she looked to Edwina,

they shrugged then signed the forms and handed them to him.
“Good, get in the car and we can go,” he said.
As they turned about and drove off detective Moore looked at the entrance to the Naval Base.

“You didn’t really think we were going in there did you? We are in the business of keeping secrets secret, what would you think of us if it was in there,” said Sgt. Seams.
They drove through the town then onto the ferry to the other side of the river.

Sgt. Seams began to tell them what to expect, he told them his name was Simon that he used to be based at Stow-in-the-Wold police station but after he became associated with the girls at the house there he moved with the girls to where they are now. As he drove he slowed each time they drew near to a junction, he knew they were close when he handed them a security pass each.

He was very serious, he told them to always wear the passes so that anyone else could see them when you are in the Manor or its grounds.
“But never wear them so they can be seen outside the Manor. About the girls you were asking about, they are all listed at the Manor as their work is classified top secret,

they are on record as being in a branch of the foreign office, MI9. One of the men you asked me about, Peter Featheringue, he in in charge of what they are doing. The other man is Brigadier General Reginald Farnsworth he is ultimately in charge of what goes on at the Manor.”
Sgt. Seams looked into the driver’s mirror.

“It was suggested to me that you should work here to tell the families where these girls are.”
Det. Rathbone told Sgt. Seams about the husband of Alison Newbury she said there was something about him that was wrong. They drove in silence for another fifteen minutes along the road to Beltone, cresting a hill that let them see the town,

Sgt. Seams turned left onto a private road and began to drive slower.
He pointed to areas in the fields where tables and chairs had been placed. After they had rounded a bend they saw the big house, Sgt. Seams told them that all of the girls that you mentioned they came to the Manor recently, now they will all stay there.

Eventually Sgt. Seams stopped outside the big house and while getting out the car he explained that this is what they call the Manor.
“Of all the young women you were enquiring about, you’ll have to wait here for a while as they are in a class.”
Detective Moore enquired about what the class was or what they were being taught.

Sgt. Seams grinned to them and said about them being taught the various ways to use the witchcraft and of those ways what ways would best help them.
“If you come inside, we’ll see the details of which room they are in We’ll go in there to meet them when they have finished,” he said.

Detectives Moore and Rathbone stared at each other, exclaiming,
“witchcraft?”
Neither of them understood how the women who knew they were in MI9 would be taught witchcraft.

Part of a foreign offices plan. Sgt. Seams had realised the mistake he had made, he tried to put right that mistake then told them he didn’t mean they would be taught witchcraft as the reason why they were all chosen to be here was because they would already very capable as witches. What they are in the class for is that they to learn the specifics of what is required.

To be able to do what is new to them going into the Manors minor offices Sgt. Seams sat on the chair behind the desk and looked to them.
“What I hoped would happen was that after you had been told a bit about them that you would want to join us. You would be required to contact the families of the women here and for any

of the others who we deem are needed here. It is of no concern where they come from as transport will be provided to you, be that a car or an aircraft.”
The two detectives stepped back to discuss what they had just been told.

“Can you tell us a bit more about those two men?” asked the detectives.
Sgt. Seams opened a drawer of the office desk he took out a folder and began to read from a sheet of paper.
“Peter Featheringue is the leader of the people in the project. He is highly regarded in the realms of witchcraft,

to older witches he is The Unicorn, the high priest of all the English covens. The high priestess is also here she is someone who you seem to know of quite well, her name is Alison Newbury. As was the case in the initial stages the War Office had quite the same response like you, they were dubious to say the least about witches or witchcraft being a benefit to the war effort."

Knowing that the German high command has been using witchcraft, England decided it needed the same to retaliate. When witchcraft was first mentioned the War office refused to pay their bus fares. That was until a member of the War Office was invited to the house in Stow-on-the-Wold, then the witches proved how valuable they could be. It was Peter Featheringue who helped to convince him.

The man he convinced was Brigadier General Reginald Farnsworth.”
But detective Moore was still unconvinced she didn’t see how witchcraft could be a help to the war effort. Sgt. Seams said that when he was first sent to the house he thought little of the witches. Some children had been seen throwing stones and breaking windows,

though no complaints came from the house.
He said that while he was there one of the women magically repaired all the broken windows. When he had gone to the house the Brigadier General had witnessed a window being replaced, he thought there would be other uses for them.

About that time the War Office found out that some officers in the Gestapo had started to collect many items of an occult importance.
The Brigadier General put forward the idea that they ought to fight fire with fire. So having the witches began to be seen as a good thing. It was Alison who gave the War Office a display that convinced them that there might be a special benefit

she set out thirty two plain cards on the table in front of them and drew a single design on each one of them. She placed a five pound note on the table, her hands placed flat on the table and after twelve minutes a second five pound note began to appear beside it. A few of the people in the room had said it was just an illusion, that was until Alison picked up both of the five pound notes and offered them.

“The note was useless as it was an exact copy of the original, meaning it had the same bank note number. But if it was a copy of a German bank note would anyone mind if the numbers were the same? The Manor had been obtained by the Foreign Office a few years before, that day it became a home to the witches.

Not long after being moved to this Manor a truly remarkable delivery method started to be used.”
“Not bad, and to think they said they were in a ghost hunters club,” said Det. Rathbone.
Sgt. Seams grinned too he said to imagine it from their point of view of the society as a whole.

They would get some ridicule from people for being ghost hunters but nowhere near as much if they declared themselves to be witches. It was just a cover story for them as they were then but they do not need the cover story now as everything here is top secret. The other thing being that witchcraft was illegal.

He watched their faces, it was as if a cloud of uncertainty had been lifted in front of them and they could see clearly again. Sgt. Seams took both the detectives to a room near the kitchen, there were boxes piled on boxes all over the floor. He invited them to look at them all, it took just two days of work by all the witches. There are thousands of pounds worth of German bank notes.

THE TWO SWORDS 2 PART 2

( Rather than changing my mind and delaying the next instalment I have decided to offer you a few allotments of little offerings, I hope that will suffice )

Each package contained forgeries and was ready to go. Most of the magic used in them was nothing compared to the delivery method that had caused many questions to be they had to be tactful and very careful when you understand that the delivery method they were going to use was by a submarine. That was when the military police became involved

Detective Amelia Rathbone wanted to know all the secrets while Detective Susan Moore wanted to know more about the Manor, she wondered why the building didn’t have a proper name. It did seem a bit strange that a place of this size and grandeur did not have a proper name. Sgt. Seams told her the house had been empty for seven months when purchased no name was stated.

Rather than guess it was left without a name.
“The manor when it was first occupied by the people from the Foreign Office a painting was found in what would become the head office.”
Sgt. Seams drew their attention to the map as it had a false backing. It was what the manor would become when ownership of it was bought

it even showed where the gun emplacements were.
“As you can see you need to have your wits about you here. If you want to go for a walk you will need to keep thirty yards of the defensive structures because if you do go beyond that you will

find the anti-aircraft guns have several trigger-happy guards who will ask you questions about who you are a second or two before they shoot you. So believe me when I tell you those guards will not appreciate a person walking behind them, do yourself a favour, if you decide to make an unannounced visit wait until you are invisible, or dead.

Sgt. Seams asked to have a good look at the map, so he could study it. He took interest in the painting above the fireplace at the end of the great hall, he asked for both the detectives to accompany him, both the detectives looked nervously to him as he spoke about Alison Newbury to them and the other missing women to him.

Detective Rathbone looked nervously at Sgt. Seams she wanted to know what Alison Newbury meant to him. Sergeant Seams told her not to worry, he said that Alison tested you, to see if you were capable of being like her. She did say she’d like it if you were though it seemed as if your family used to be something that the witches derived from.

“It was well known amongst my family line that there was something different about us. I chose to be a detective rather than follow the tradition, there are some tales handed down through the years that are plain weird.”
Alison grinned.

“You’ll have to tell me about that some time. But for now once we get equal facets of the craft working in you I will then be able to show you the world inside the painting, plus the world beyond that, it is like this, in the rooms above where we are stood there are six paintings of the same thing all signed by a Constable," said Alison, "Or is that A. Constable?"

If you look very closely you can see a slight difference between each one as those differences as they are inside the Manor. Alison looked to Judith and asked if trip of sight was a success?
“I am unsure have the Avebury stones been bombed?” asked Judith Wyrd.

her exclamation caused everyone in the hall to look at her. Judith turned and smiled to Peter Featheringue.
“As far as I am aware, none of the stones have been hit or moved, I will check to make sure I am right but why is that so important,” asked Judith Wyrd.

Detective Rathbone looked too her and smiled.
“In a vision I saw another who will need to be contacted to let her know what could be,”
“In my vision it was she who spoke to me in a very different way,”

A bright dome of light slowly rose up into the hall through the floor, a woman stepped from the dome her body bathed in light. She greeted everyone there. Then gave an additional greeting to each of the women.
“Not only are you witches as you are also and primarily so, Vampire Slayers. My name is Tianara though you may know me as Goddess Tianara.

In the fifth empty field beyond the stones, all the stone lead us to Avebury Stones, this will be the home of all like you are long ago, people worshipped there, knowing that they were safe. Now though only our secrets are hidden here, the secrets of what once were are hidden in the rows of perished wood and stone that once were the foundations of buildings of worship.

The shape of a church was important as it was a magnet to any of the demonic kind. Once in a church no demon could escape. Now, know there is another secret at the Avebury Stones that is why we protect the stones. What is there can one day be found again, it will be known as a warning to sound to tell humans to leave so that we could attack and destroy all the demons there.”

“Whose army are we?” asked Judith.
Bending her elbow she pointed a finger upwards.
“The armies of the Powers That Be, you are to protect all of them and control them just as the Powers That Be protect all that you are.”

“What are we do,” asked Judith.
Tianara said they were to control who they were, to control who their faith was in and know that all we know is that there will be a coach crash, one in which a demon of the Powers That be will be in, the demon knows where the source of the First will be.

The beginning of the final battle will be known to them and us, if we can learn the when and where that might help us overcome them right know to get knowledge of the beginning is a prime request. Knowing where the battles would start has always been something we have sought. One of our seers told us that the tyres of a bus would suddenly be locked on the tarmac.

That caused them to scream as they protested at the forced stationary contact with the road, a sound that penetrated the walls of the building. That would be our only warning that the final battle would soon start. When we are told of buses tyres being locked against the road, the scream and echo of that sound will fill the room.

Judith and Alison froze, they stared at the extension speaker and waited for the telephone to start ringing. Det. Rathbone faced them then faced the telephone, tears began to well in her eyes then tumble down her cheeks.
“How do you know that?” she asked.

Judith smiled to her,
“I just do, I have no idea how, maybe it is because of what I am,” said Judith.
“I thought that we are preparing our kind to be ready for when the onslaught happens.”

“When do you suppose that will be?” asked Det. Rathbone.
Greer looked about her at the other young women.
“As far as I understand what the Goddess said, it will be many generations into the future.”

“I thought that my mind was playing tricks on me," said Alison.
But I think I thought it was the same, I just hope that it becomes clear to you which bus to watch for, there could be hundreds of thousands on the world roads when the time comes,” said Wendy.

“We have long looked for who to watch for, we have an idea who it might be. So please feel safe that we are aware and conscious of what might be and to whom,” said Tianara.
“That feels better, knowing that we are part of the battles against the First,” said Greer.

The Goddess stood in the middle of a road she looked forward and saw a man in the middle of the road at the end of her sight. The figure stood there as if to test them.
“The man is testing us making us think the final battle was about to begin,” said the Goddess.

Then that means the players of the First has and maybe will let us know when the final battles will begin. The Goddess laughed.
“The First might think they are testing us but really they are showing us their hand, letting us know they have just tipped their hand, letting us know that we will get a warning of their intentions,” said the Goddess.
