Wouldn't it be cool if the PTB released one of those old school read-alongs on CD?

I don't know how to explain it, but I'll try my best.

Okay, so Joss gets as many of the Buffy cast together, with some professional voice over actors, and even some well known guest actors into a recording studio and they voice act the script. And then later they can put in sound effects and other sounds to make it sync with the comics. So it's like you can read the comic and hear what's going on too. I think it would be a fantastic idea. I would buy it.

(And if some of the original actors can't make it, then they can always hire professional voice doubles)

So what do you guys think? It may not be so visual, but think of the audio experience.

Doctor Who does stuff like that, don't they? Except they write original material for it.

That would be cool! They could use the people from the video games etc. if some of those actors didn't want to.
But I don't think they would get much money for it. As popular as Buffy is...season eight isn't popular enough.

I like the idea, books on CD would be great for those long drive in the truck!

hell I'd settle for Joss reading them aloud.

books on tape are fun...if like me your alone for long periods of time; just you and the all to quiet highway.

(The quiet is a Godsend for awhile, but it gets maddening after abit.)

I'd definitely be up for some Buffy audio dramas. Drop a line to Big Finish (who does the Doctor Who stuff) and mention it to them. You never know.

Many thanks for your suggestion. A Buffy audio drama series sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately there are no plans for us to do this at the moment, but it's something that we can certainly consider for the future. Thanks for the idea.
