Tara VS Kennedy

Who do you like more: Tara or Kennedy??

That she does! I still think he would better her but I suppose its like that age old question...Caveman vs Astronaut...who would win? haha!!

Edit:

I suppose she would be the astronaut in this scenario...I still don't get how the astronaut would win? do they have hand to hand training? and since when do they get guns?

I think the astronaut would win, with guns at least, lol... but in this case, who is the caveman and who is the astronaut though? Faith is the astronaut?
I dunno, since they're advanced in technology you'd think they get guns :silly: I'm just twisting the we'll never know argument :silly:

You do know how fit, and intelligent you have to be to get so far in the astronaut program to become an astronaut... that is how they win they are better then a caveman who is terrified a lighter :/
 
On topic people... 😛

I had to vote for Tara.... but she had a lot more air time and I did start to like kennedy after a little while. I think she was good for Willow. She needed to move on. 🙂

David Beckham is fit! doesn't mean he could kick anyone's arse!! I think the caveman would win...they are working off instinct...kill, destroy!

ahahaha no? fine fine, yes she did need to move on from Tara's death idk about a full on relationship one after another, Oz then Tara then Kennedy, all seeming pretty serious.

Ohh please no saying that Willow fell in love with Kennedy. I just don't see it as that. I think she liked her a lot. But I, as in me only, don't think she really truly loved Kenn.

Well they broke up in season 8. Well they were broken up 'by' season 8. I think that shows us.

I think Kennedy was a good stepping stone for Willow. She was the right person at the right time, but that wasn't a relationship that I saw lasting. That could just be because of the lack of bonding time, though. Season 7 was just too busy!

My vote went to Tara, though. Tara was just so darn likeable. How could I not choose her? She and Will worked. They made it past a magic addiction. They lived together well -- first on campus and then at Buffy's. They were family to Dawn. Tara was integrated into the family unit in a way that I don't think Kennedy would ever be. But, then again, maybe she just didn't get time.

No, I think your right. I just can't see Kennedy ever being taken in as one of their own.

In regards to whether Willow was in love with her, well I don't think so. She seemed kinda indifferent to the girl's death in the comics and considering how she reacted to the loss of her two previous lovers who she was in love with...well I'm going to take a leap and say it wasn't the love of the century...not for Willow anyway.

Wow wow, watch for the spoilers! You need to be careful when outside the season 8 part of the forum cause some of us havent read the comic yet (but are gonna) and we don't want spoilers :)
Thats a good point, with Oz and Tara, Willow was distraught for quite a while afterwards, even when the immediate emotional/magical loss of control had passed.

With Kennedy it was pretty 'meh' but don't forget Kennedy came back again, and unlike when Oz returned there was no 'other person' to confuse things. The death part was more like a bad vacation this time.

But I think you're right, even what we saw in Season 7 had Willow confused and feeling awkward most of the time, Kennedy creating too many troublesome feelings and situations. There wasn't any of the true chemistry she had with Oz or Tara.

Anyhoo I have and always will prefer Tara over little miss brat queen.

Iyari Limon did a fine job as Kennedy. I think that most people didn't like Kennedy was because her personality was not similar to Tara's. Many fans tend to have a lack of tolerance toward recurring characters who are far from perfect. Especially when they are female. It's okay if the main characters are far from perfect. But when the character is recurring like Kennedy . . .
 
But what if you weren't fond of Tara either and still can't stand Kennedy?

Kennedy should be the "Kenny" of the Buffyverse, dying all the time in embarrassing ways, coming back only to be killed again. 😀
