I've planned a whole Buffy back piece. I'm pretty sure I'd go through with it but I'm gonna leave it be for a few years, see how I feel about it then. I'm still to young for that big of a commitment I think.

No. NO WAY.. Buffy means something but not in my heart. Anything you get should be something that you cannot live without. Something vital and ever important. Buffy is a good source of entertainment (and I do have the nerf herder intro music as my ring tone) but I couldnt put it on my body.

Skin is sacred and anything that adorns it should be viewed as such as well, if only in your own eyes.

Totally agree. That's why I've taken so long in getting a tatoo, it needs to be right.

I considered getting a "tattoos are for attention seeking eedjits" on my forehead when I was younger. Luckily, I looked into the future and saw that spoonsiscoollike thought of that idea in a more subtle joke.

Then I thought about getting a "George Lucas broke my.." tattoed on my left buttcheek.

But who would see it? A rapist? Perv in the gym shower room?

Exactly, bad idea.

Then I considered subverting an old cliche by having 'love' tattooed on my right knuckles, and 'wipe' tattoed on my left knuckles..

I really did consider, in 1999, for about half an hour, whilst drunk, getting a tattoo on my forehead.

Truthfully I dont ever see myself getting one, but you never know. (A little one mind. Other people have a right to do whatever they want with their body, personally, a large part of the time I think tattoos look tacky, especially when some people go waay overboard.)

I thought that way once too.. but there have been defining moments in my life which I choose to symbolize and remember. To remember where I was and how far I came. They can serve as a photo album of your life. The one I am getting is to remind me what I am supposed to be doing, because sometimes my mental state does not always give my body the push it needs, thus, looking at this image emblazed upon my flesh can remind my mind when it is weak.

About an hour and 40 minutes-ish. Not to sure because we started a bit later artist said 2 hours to give him some room like so he weren't far off.

Two hours one of mine took and it was relaxing.

Yeah I didn't find it all that painful, near my shoulders twinged a bit but nothing drastic.

My friend was under the needle for 3 and a half hours last friday and he was saying it started getting real painful towards the end haha.

It's a sweet tattoo that he's got though, the artist has added it to the studio's website cause it was a custom design.

Okay...not the best pic that I have but one of the first that I took when I first got mine...which was a couple of years ago.

It's not the pain that got me, it's the couple of weeks of itchy healing that drove me nuts...

I know what I want to get for my second one, and I'm iffy of my third with the exception of the placement. After that, who knows?

My nephew...who is more like my little brother......... has a cool one. Its on the inside of his forearm and wraps around the top...its a huge breaking wave, and the wave froth are little rabbits! The body of the wave...blue part I guess, is striped royal and light blue, kinda like a flag...not sure why.

The bunnies arent white though, their flesh colored, they would be very difficult to ink in because they are so small! Its a conversation piece and though it may sound weird, it looks pretty cool. His next one is going to be a dead coy fish on his shoulder to bicep. He's into japaneese culture and for them Coy fish equal luck (so he says) why he wants a dead one...well, you'd have to know my little buddie. Eventually he's getting full sleeves. He's pretty artistic, I'll have to pick his brain and see what he's planning after the fishy.

I have one on my left scapula I got done when I was 18.

It's a crescent man in the moon, with wisps of clouds and a few stars.

To me, there was almost no pain. It was like sandpaper. The only time it hurt was when he had to dig in deeper because I have olive skin and the moon was yellow. He let me pick what to listen to and I picked Beastie Boys "Licensed to Ill."

I want another eventually..

First tat ever - eye of Ra and an ankh on my right shoulderblade, drawn by the boyfriend guy. It didn't so much hurt as it felt funny - I have a tendency to think tattoos are more relaxing than painful. It very much so felt like a vibrating needle in my shoulder, which is exactly what it was.

I plan on getting Faith's tattoo somewhere, and possibly the scythe somewhere else. I haven't quite filled up my quota of dorky tattoos. 😀

Nice! I'm totally down for the fan tats. All the way. MY skin is not "scared" lol..A have four tattoos already.....a pirate heart and lighting thingy with my moms name on my arm, my dead best friends name on my lower back, two koala bears on my other arm, and "respice finem" on my lower arm, which means "Look To The End".
I's relaly like a Buffy themed tattoo. My life is Buffy. I'm pretty sure I'll always like Buffy, so I'm not worried about that 🙂
I'd like to get a Spike/Buffy themed thing somethere...possibly on my stomach..possibly a shot from "Out of my Mind" with some lettering...quotes...I'm not sure yet. I'm a broke student, so a tattoo anytime soon is probobly not an option if I want to eat...lol

I saw a guy at a comic con a while back with a sweet vamped-out Spike face on his lower leg...

Yep I have always wanted a tat as well I know what I want to, a seahorsie. I keep dreaming about it.....except that in my dream the seahorsie has wings and it flutters away....awwww dang it. Its just a matter of courage and money for me. I wanna do it soon so I have a lot of time to enjoy it before I get old and it turns into wrinkly gibberish though.....lol.
