Tattoos and Piercings

I had small stud earrings for about a month. Literally a month. I fell asleep with them in my ear one night, and the next day, the rubber piece got stuck inside my earlobe. Yikes. So, I never wore earrings again, and I probably never will. Now tattoos on the other hand is something different. I've always contemplated about getting one. I'm not going to tattoo my entire body or anything crazy like that, but I think that one should suffice. And it has to mean something. I've been toying around with putting "the hardest thing in this world is to live in it" somewhere on me. Not original, granted, but it's such an important phrase, one I've been carrying with me since I first heard it. That, and maybe a lyric from Fleetwood Mac's Dreams, "thunder only happens when its raining". That song is quite possibly my favorite song in existence, so I might put that on me as well. Only time will tell.

Well since my last post I've kept stretching my ears, and I've got a new piercing! I also just got a new job and I'm glad they don't seem to care.

I have my ears pierced and one tattoo. Me and my sister got this symbol (celtic sister knot) tattooed in the same place at the same time. Sister bonding lol The Sisters Knot Celtic heart is a symbol of sisterhood and the strong, eternal bond we share with our sisters and friends. The intricate Celtic knot heart is an unbroken line symbolic of an everlasting love. The stylized triquetra or triple spiral, woven within the Celtic knot heart symbolizes the three stages of woman. The three stages of woman are maid, mother and wise woman.
