Now I wanna hear about peoples tatoos. Was browsing the Lip peircing thread and apparently a bunch of you've got tatoos. So now I want to know where and what and how much it hurt.

Thinking about getting one myself, but haven't decieded what I want. So for the rest of you out there like me without tatoos, what would you get and where would you get it?
 
i wanna get like 2 tattoos one on the small of my back and one on my ankle
I want a black rose with blood dripping off the thorn and underneith B*tch in japanesse writting lol
then i want either a playboy bunny or the BTVS symbol thing around my ankle. most likely the bunny though
 
Ugh, I'm kind of scared to start getting tattoos, because I think if I got one, I'd want to get another and another and another. But if I did, I'd start out with a peacock feather on my right side, and a European-style dragon (no Asian dragons for me!) on my left. I might like to have a celtic cross between my shoulderblades as well.
 
I wouldn't mind tattoos from time to time but I change my mind frequently, I'd get bored. However the only one I've seen that I liked is Angel's.
 
I've got three tattoos currently... One is between my shoulder blades, and its an anchor with a maple leaf behind it (Navy)... and then i have one on each of my hips, just above my butt... ones the Team Canada Hockey symbol (yea!) and the other is a heart with the word love written into it that i designed... Yea... I want another... i dont know what though.... they are so addictive!
 
If I did get a tatoo, it'd be something Japanese-y...

Wouldnt be brave enough to get it done, incase, it says like 'Kick Me' or 'I like pot noodle' or something...

Although I hate his guys, I really like the tatoo Eminem has on his inner arm...
 
I REALLY want a tattoo on my hip that says, "Devotion" in Chinese. Oh, and I have a question, how old do you have to be to get a tattoo?

Its 18 in the UK. Although tattooists are hardly the most legally upright people ever.
 
I really want a tattoo. When I get more courageous I'll get a tattoo that has got something to do with BtVS. Now, it's gonna be something that only I relate with BtVS.. preferably a word.. My problem is that I have no idea where I want it, hmm..
 
I am too chicken... plus I wonder what they would look like on me if I live to be old.
 
Gotta agree with Lee. Eminems tatoo on the inside of his arm is very good looking.

I'm a word person so I'll go with Eps on that one and say I would have to have something written. Some text or word/s I really like, but have no idea where I would like them. Or possibly a simple symbol such as a star or the capricorn sign.
 
I had my tattoo done when I'd just turned 17. Supposed to be 18 though... shhhhh. 😉

It's a chinese symbol that means Angel at the small of my back. I love it. I'm gonna get it added to. Possibly a dragon weaving in and out of it. Didn't really hurt as much as I thought it would. I think the dragon will though cos it'll take longer and it'll be in colour.

i always wanted a barcode tattoo but on the back of my neck not my lower back (this was before ever seeing an episode of dark angel) or a strand of flowers twsting up my leg
 
I have quite a few tattoos. About 14 to be exact and they are rather addicting. Have been working on a full back piece but just havent had the time lately to go back and work on it some more. Good thing for me that I have a friend that is tattoo artist or I would be broke!!

You are right, they are SO addictive!!!

I have three.

My first is a Celtic link that goes right around my left anke, got it in 92 when I turned 18.

My second is a solid black Asian-style dragon that coild up my spine, it starts on my lower middle back area.

The third is one my hubby designed for me, it's a dragon-fly but not the insect kind..it's a kind of ethereal melding of the two..it's an asian-style dragon with dragon-fly type wings. Again, black. It's on my right shoulder blade.

All of mine are black, I'm not a coloured tattoo person for me personally, hubby's is coloured and I love it.

I want more...so many more! But I always wait and make sure 100% that it's what I want.

None of mine hurt...it's kinda enjoyable after the initial contact 😀
 
tattoo...

have one on my right fore arm....got several years ago. didnt really hurt at all, except when the needle got close to elbow...its the symbol of IRA. over the map of Ireland.....
 
Hmm.

Got sort of... tribal-ish angel wings on the middle of my back about two years ago. Never mentioned it to my folks, but in a moment of blinding, stunning wierdness, my mother announced totally out of the blue that she'd like to get a tattoo. Maybe on her back. Angel wings or something.

I thought I was supposed to turn into her, not the other way around?

Hehe sounds like my mom! 2 years ago my sis and I bought her a tattoo for her birthday.

It's 2 halos linked...and each halo has a pair of dark angel wings. She calls my sis and I her "angels with dark wings" 😀 and she will put a smaller pair of angel wings around the central tattoos for each grandchild 🙂

Aww, now that is cool. Got my mom her first tattoo at the age of 65.
