I have three tattoos. Soon to be getting a BtVS related one. I almost want to get Faith's tattoo, but it's way too common. Thinking about getting the Slayer's Scythe and Faith's knife done.

I love tatoo! I'm thinking about doing some but I'm waiting because I'm still not sure which I want and where.

I think about doing them at my wrists. I think about a seven (my lucky number), a cupcake and...for the last one, I was thinking of a Cretan warrior ax

but I'm starting to think it would be a form of achievement to make the Slayer's Scyte instead! Tough, I think it looks more beautiful when you see Buffy fighting with it than just by itself. I dunno.

I still could make a tatoo of one quote of Buffy. That would be hard to pick.

I think it really depends on the person. I have upper back tattoos and they didn't hurt at all except for the spine. The spine hurt! I also have my foot tattooed and didn't have any problem with that at all.

I think as long as you stay away from all the obvious painful areas it's much of a muchness. Don't get your neck tattooed, your inner arm is going to hurt more then the outer. It's mostly just common sense I believe.

Anyway, I have 3 tattoos. I have latin writing from shoulder to shoulder 'nil satis nisi optimum', which is Evertons motto. Under that I have the Everton crest in the middle of my back, but stylised in the retro crest. On my foot I have a candy.

I definitely want more, but I don't really have anything dead set in mind yet, so will probably wait until I'm more certain.

Which parts of the body hurt to get tatooed the most? The least?

Cait's pretty much said it all - It depends upon the part of the body, how deep the flesh is there, what the nerve density is in that area, and your own personal tolerance levels.

For me, getting it on the outside of the upper arm, it was really fine. I'd worried and worried about how intense the pain would be because hey, needles, you know, but in reality it was nothing worse than someone quickly nipping your skin between finger than thumb.

My one and only tattoo. Planning on getting one more on my foot that says either "hattak iskitini" or "hattak iskitini hullo li." The first is my son's Choctaw name (little man) and the second means "I love little man."

I know the one of my neck tattoo is really awkward. I can never get a good shot of it, for obvious reasons...

If you search the site, there are lots of threads on this subject. There are quite a few members here who have B/A-related tattoos. 😀
