The Premise
In a quiet coastal community, the forces of evil are gathering and it is up to an unlikely duo of heroes to protect the town from that certain evil. The vibe of a great action adventure whispers promising through the air, but when our heroes scroll onto screen, that vibe is shattered like a monkey slinging poo. Our unlikely heroes are Davis, A well built athletically gifted popular but ditzy and naà¯ve sixteen year old. In the form of his sidekick, enters Matty Jones, the sexually unsure and gullible best friend with a flair for pointy objects.
The fate of the west coast lays in the hands of these two young men, and for the last year, they've been keeping up with their end of the bargain, but when a new beautiful, evasive and mysterious student by the name of Charlie enrolls into Port Harbor High, a set of events are set into motion and things will never be the same.
As it turns out, Miss New Student who also happens to be Beautiful, Evasive and Mysterious is a newly activated slayer who is on the run from her free-spirited and somewhat alcoholic watcher whose oh so Hippy name is Lilly.
Charlie's quest for independence from her watcher leads her to walk right into the one thing she never wanted, being a part of a team and even worse, attending public school.
Event by Event, Episode by Episode, Our heroes and Charlie must work together to solve puzzles, slay demons, and stay alive all while maintaining the perfect level of coolness that has come to be expected from heroes worldwide.
Perfectly walking the line between Drama and Humor, mainly through the use of snappy and oh so cool dialogue, this as of yet untitled series has something for everyone.
A mixture of spoof, satire, spiffy dialogue, and outrageous characters mixed with dashes of drama. Light hearted romp through the wonderful world of Joss Whedon.
A well built athletically gifted, semi-popular and naà¯ve sixteen year old who fights demons by night and attends a much more brutal scene during the day, high school. Davis is completely devoted to his best friend, and fellow partner of the night, Matty Jones.
The sexually unsure and gullible best friend with a flair for pointy objects. Matty is the type of person you would love to just hang up, though he does have an annoying habit of lying about things that aren't even important. He is also quite the distraction on the hunt, due to his constant babbling teenage mouth. Matty wages a constant battle to impress his seemingly absent parents.
A new beautiful, evasive and mysterious student who has just enrolled into Port Harbor High. Non-confrontive and as stated above elusive teenager who is not used to attending public high school must enroll when she gets stuck in the coastal town of Port Harbor. As it turns out, she wasn't running from an enemy, but rather from an Ally.
Lilly Stone is the ally that Charlie is on the constant run from. She is Charlie's free-spirited and somewhat alcoholic watcher who is on a constant mission to bond with her slayer but always fails miserably, either by doing or saying something completely wrong. She has good intentions, but you would never guess it by her behavior.
Sarah is the single mother of Richard and is always there for him whenever he may need her. She and her son talk about everything, even things he probably does not want to discuss, but having an open mom does leave quite a few benefits, why just last night, she agreed to pay him extra allowance money for every Vampire he slays. When it comes to the prospect of dating, she is very bitter for reasons best not discussed, lest you want a black eye.
Charlie's on again-off again, sometimes non-existent sister. A smart mouthed, curious teenager who always manages to get into trouble, that is when she does exist. She has no idea that sometimes she isn't around or real for that matter, but then again who does?
Miss. Smith is the local Port Harbor High School Enlish teacher with quite a few mental quirks which in turn will turn Charlie and the boy's high school lives into a literal Hell.
The chief editor of the Port Harbor High Newspaper, she is always on a lose-lose mission to discover what really happens when the sun goes down. While she's got some major writing skill, her investigative skills fall miles short of Sherlock Holmes and consequently she will probably never realize what truly goes down in this coastal town.
A vampire who shacks up at Charlie's house and refuses to leave. Mystery surrounds the past of this somewhat sissified vampire, and it is certain that his past holds many embarrassing secrets.
