There are BBers here with exceptional vocal talent. Hidden. Perhaps a little shy. Perhaps needing an outlet for those sudden urges to stand up and sang out loud. I'm looking at you. You all know who you are.

Ha, nice idea. I'd participate but I don't possess the technology and I doubt choral music is anyone's thing.

I can't wait to hear all the UNTALENTED people sing, myself including! 😀 And I do not say that in a way that suggest that I would make fun of anyone, it is just my opinion that karaeoke is most fun when you're a crappy singer and I really like that everyone can do it, even if you never would sing otherwise 😀
 
Dudes and dudettes, this will be karaoke. People are not always required to sing like a recording star......just sing with enthusiasm and great feeling. All will be welcome. :: tu ::

And to answer the BBGT query from drizzlydaze......like I just stated above, this will be a permanent karaoke forum. It is not a limited-duration board-wide competition (although we do plan on holding karaoke contests).

You shy people....I'm still looking at YOU. 😉😛

I used to hide my desire to sing...for YEARS, in fact. I finally decided to record, and I'm glad I did. Not only am I found to be entertaining by a select few peeps, but the more I sing, the more I improve. Shyness does not benefit you. It only holds you back. And it keeps the rest of us from hearing the awesome SANG you can bring.

I can definitely attest to the fact that OM just gets better and better. He has worked at it and it shows in his recordings! Practice helps people! 🙂
Just have fun with it. The board is all about having fun with and sharing the things we like with each other! 🙂

I don't sing. I don't like to sing. At least, I don't like to sing in front of people or on skype for that matter.😛!! But I don't mind listening to others sing. I'm up for that...
