I was rewatching Ted, and noticed a lot of clues as to him being a robot. So I was wondering, did anyone put it together ahead of time? I realized something was "up" when he came back after being "killed". But I didn't put the robot clues together. Did anyone?

I did figure it out, and I'll tell you exactly when.

It was when Buffy stuck the nail file in his arm and all the torn wires and sparks and smoke come flying out. Hah! you don't slip one past the professor, I tell you.

Too be honest though, no. I didn't see it coming at all. In my defense though, I think robots in demon shows are dumb. Oh all right, just no, I didn't see it coming at all. There are you happy? 🙂

Too funny! :)
Yup, what n4h said, robots in demon shows are just off. Becuase it was BtVS, I thought it was some demon.

I hated Ted...but I loved April (IWMTLY)

And no...I didnt figure it out...I was like 9...and...brain dead...but I guess I still am 😛

I hated them both. They were dumb and didn't move the storyline at all. Well maybe alittle bit with the Buffybot after IWMTLY. But that's it.

I thought there was something up with him, purely because it was Buffy and the way he was speaking. But I didn't think it was a robot. The whole club against his leg thing was when I knew for sure something was up.

I am not sure when I realised something was up but you could tell he was not gonna be normal.

Normal people just aren't that happy!

You could tell by his speech and mannerisms that he was not human. I just figured that he was demon when he came back to life, not a robot.

Ooh, I didnt work it out until he got all robot like on Buffy (duh) but now when i rewatch it there were alot of clues of him being a robot but i dont think it was that obvious 🙂...Cookies looked good though..

Ya. Obvioulsly, there was the impression of "hmm..." but I wasn't that smart. I just hated the jerk.

Side note, since we're ON Ted... I would really love for this one episode to be redone if Buffy Animated ever happened. Why? Because with Dawn there, the potential for a completely different story presents itself, don't you think? Of course, with the potential (and possibly may never happen) animated series wanting to be a children's show, I think many people would be confused, but it's a thought I thought was cool.

Yeah, that and when he told her he was going to slap her.

I kind of figured out the drugs-in-the-cookies deal early-on, though. It was just weird that he was always cooking and pushing the cookies and whatnot on them all the time.

Now, re-watching it, I can definitely see the hints and it just seems so obvious. It sure wasn't the first time I saw it, though.
