teeVillain Buffy t-shirt!

that's pretty cool.. I like typography in general so it's even cooler.

I have a soft spot for funny companies and I loved this email I received today with the headline;

"THERE'S BEEN AN ESCAPE!"

The "Quotes of the Slayer" tshirt that you have recently paid ransom for has escaped my evil clutches and fled from the hideout in the back of a Postal Truck.

Little did it know, I placed a tracking device upon it. You can follow its progress at USPS.com using this number: -

If I were you I'd start stalking the local letter carrier. I find that either behind bushes or abandoned vehicles makes the best hiding spots for such surveillance.

Thank you again for supporting my eVil plot for world domination. You will not be forgotten in the takeover.

Stay eVil,
teeVillain

Pretty sweet. I'm totally a graphic tees gal and have been coveting the 'Buffy Staked Edward' shirt that used to be in Hot Topic back when I was a poor misguided Twilight fan. It went off the shelves some years ago and hasn't returned. XP But I keep hoping as I browse each time I visit the store. XP

Then I found an awesome Angel tee on their website not long ago that said 'Send me an Angel' in awesome crimson type with his face and just my luck... it's only available in extra small! Even with my stomach at it's flattest (which I admit it's not right now) I could NEVER fit into an extra small. Especially in Hot Topic. Their extra small would fit like an eight year old. I'd need a medium at least!
Oh lovely, just gave it another and now and it's completely gone with a new Buffy shirt available.

Hmm not bad and this one actually comes in all sizes. *thinks*

Oh that would have been a cool shirt to have. I don't have any Buffy tees. @Twisted Angelus I've seen that one at Hot Topic before but Idk if it's my type. I would prefer something more minimalist personally.

Yeah @Fuffy Baith I don't think it's really my style either and it doesn't make complete sense with the use of Willow, Spike and Angel along side Buffy. Spike and Angel maybe but to throw Willow in there with them...huh?

She's a dangerous woman.. so she's on the shirt.
Oh ok because it says 'dangerous woman' on it, I see. Still though she has nothing to do with Angel or Spike...or Angel some...it just feels like a random arrangement to me. What had caught my attention most about it was the 'Buffy" font being very classic monster movie style but it's not enough to make me want to buy and wear it.

But that's kinda how the vintage horror movie posters were.. just like that more or less.

@Mr. Pole Oh that one I do like, 80stees has a great selection but I can only buy from Hot Topic right now because I've got a gift card. My bank account is empty. 🙁 I really need a job.

I wonder how much their get for royalties off of their likeness being used on so much stuff.

Eh, none? Unless they own a share of the rights that is...

I mean the likenesses are based on pictures so the one to get royalties would be the owner of the pictures, i.e. the photographer or whomever the photographer sold their rights to. I imagine royalties for the subjects of the pictures depends on if it is specifically stipulated in their contract that they should for all time, get a share of the uses of the particular picture. But most likely it's the WB/the photographer/network/the Kuzui's that get money for Buffy-images in print.
But in other news, check what came in the mail yesterday...

Who else is looking this hot at work today? 😉

I dont know.. I think alot would depend on how much she fought over her contract. For instance, in order for Jack Nicholson negotiated in his contract he gets money off of any Batman sequel made regardless if he is in it or not, and makes money off of any Joker merchandise that bears his likeness. I think the Friends cast had something similar, about their likeness, etc. Was wondering if SMG ever negotiated anything or not.
