Tell Us A Random Fact About Yourself

I taught myself bass guitar with some help from the dad. I only stopped because I have tiny hands and would really need a custom size bass. I am no where near as talented as he but I can listen to music and pick out the notes and order I need to play it in. I don't know what the notes are though. I guess I have a musical talent I never use. Which reminds me, my music teacher was sure I had played the drums before when it was actually my first time. He said I was a natural. *smug face* But I never played drums either. I have no instruments at all anymore. Crafting took over my hobbies.

Maybe I should convert both spare rooms. One for knitting & crochet and one as a studio. 😛

Back in school, for grade 7 to 9, we could choose between an easier or a more advanced class in the subjects English and Math.
I was the only one in the entire school who picked the combination advanced Math and easy English.

And also back in school. In first or second grade our teacher once skipped a math lesson so we instead could paint glasses to use as candle holders. (It was around Christmas)
That annoyed me. So I painted my entire glass pitch black as a protest.
The teacher got concerned about my mental health and I was almost sent to the shrink... 🙂

At a friend's party when we were 16, we decided to have a "White Xmas"- it doesn't snow in our part of Australia and her birthday was a week before Xmas, so we got so many cans of shaving cream and covered the playground in it. I saw a dog by itself and felt annoyed that the owner would let it's dog run around loose (I had been previously bitten by a dog, got a small scar on my upper arm) and dabbed a few dollops of shaving cream on it.
Out walked my English teacher. Oh how I ran.

When I was 20, I went to Drum Tech- a drum academy in London and studied for a month. I ended up getting top grades of the class. Was the only girl in the class too.
Apart from doing the odd drum cover on YouTube I don't play drums anymore due to injury.
