Here's a bunch of random questions for you to think about...or even answer, if the spirit moves you.

1. You're wearing a beautiful fur jacket...suddenly, three people wearing PETA shirts approach you. They loudly condemn your choice of apparel, then throw red paint on it. What is your reaction?

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?

1. Do you think that all this talk about "going green" is useful, or a waste of time?

It's useful, I suppose. I don't really pay much attention to it.

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

I probably wouldn't say anything. I usually just keep to myself.

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?

I'd continue to wait.

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?

I don't have a significant other 😛

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?

I'd step in and say something.

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?

Move.

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?

No, I wouldn't keep it. I'd find whoever the envelope was originally addressed to and give it to them.

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?

I'd buy them some food from inside.

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?

No.. I always wash my hands. Regardless of who's around. Lol

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?

I'd try to put some time aside to go over and visit her. Let her talk about whatever's on her mind... just be a friend to her, I guess.

1. You're wearing a beautiful fur jacket...suddenly, three people wearing PETA shirts approach you. They loudly condemn your choice of apparel, then throw red paint on it. What is your reaction?

Honestly, I'm pretty sure what I would say isn't allowed here. I mean, I get it, fur sucks...but you know what else sucks?? Assault and vandalism. So those assholes from PETA can shove it where the sun don't shine. *arent I lovely*

I'd also probably buy more furs out of spite.

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

No way; I have zero interest in getting into it with strangers. Plus more time to look at magazines.

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?

Move it after 10 min.

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?

1

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?

Depends on the situation. I'd probably linger and watch a bit before deciding what to do.

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?

I'd probably suffer through it or move. I have no balls.

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?

I'd return it, but would dream about what I ~could~ have use it on for like a month.

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?

Give them a dollar or two.

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?

Wash normally.....I don't want to be in a public bathroom longer than I have to be.

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?

Honestly? Listen the first couple times then I'd probably avoid her as much as possible and give the "I'm so busy" lines. Seeing the pattern of me avoiding conflict??? Lol

1. You're wearing a beautiful fur jacket...suddenly, three people wearing PETA shirts approach you. They loudly condemn your choice of apparel, then throw red paint on it. What is your reaction?

I'd never wear fur in the first (furst) place.

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

Nah, but I'd definitely give them some bitchy looks and maybe a couple exasperated sighs.

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?

I'd wait. I wouldn't touch someone else's clothes. Clean or not; gross.

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?

Serious lies? Like, none. Non-serious? In the last three months, probably in the hundreds.

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?

I'd probably look around for their parents. If there are no parents around, I'd step in and tell the bullies to piss off.

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?

I don't care. Everyone does it. It is expected behaviour now at cinemas.

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?
No! I couldn't live with myself if I kept it. I'd feel like I'd completely ruined someone's birthday. Stealing on that level is pretty low.

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?
I'd give them cash and probably tell them about the homeless kitchens in the area. That way they can keep the cash and go eat.

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?
I always wash my hands. Especially so in public bathrooms.

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?

I'd chat with her. Enough to get to know her a little and then probably try to set her up with someone so she isn't so lonely/stops bothering me.

1. You're wearing a beautiful fur jacket...suddenly, three people wearing PETA shirts approach you. They loudly condemn your choice of apparel, then throw red paint on it. What is your reaction?

I would never wear real fur, but if this did happen I'd cheer for the PETA guys and probably join them

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

I'd probably tut loudly and mutter under my breath but wouldn't actually say anything

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?

I'd be annoyed if people touched my clothes so I wouldn't do it to anyone else.

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?

Don't have a significant other, but I'd like to think I wouldn't need to lie much if I did have one

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?

Tough one, depends what sort of bullying and how old the kids were, but probably not

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?

I'd probably tut loudly and mutter under my breath . . . it's my go-to reaction to annoying people 🙂

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?

Not. It'd be stealing, I'd be a thief

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?

Give them cash if I have any on me. I give the gift, what they spend it on is up to them.

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?

Yuk, no. Wash your hands every time you use the bathroom!

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?

Put up with it once or twice, but then be brutal and tell her to get online and make some new friends, I'm far too busy for this nonsense, she shouldn't have married the dick in the first place

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

I wouldn't say anything, I'd just watch and wait for them to come to the realisation that they are going to really struggle getting their items onto the tiny conveyer belt you get with "10 items or less" checkouts. I would also probably quietly laugh at their struggles.

1. You're wearing a beautiful fur jacket...suddenly, three people wearing PETA shirts approach you. They loudly condemn your choice of apparel, then throw red paint on it. What is your reaction?
Probably something violent, cause the jacket was fake fur and I'm a fellow member of PETA... b*tches...

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

I definitely say something, gotta respect those supermarket rules or the world will fall into instant chaos! (only half-way kidding, btw)

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?

Remove. Their. Stuff. Ugh, this has happened to me A LOT in my first apartment, almost got into fisticuffs with the idiot woman responsible. She started retaliating by removing my wet clothes before the machine was done, meaning I wasn't too late to show up... super much with the annoying...

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?

0, I don't have a SO 🙂

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?

It's not my business, but I'd probably watch to see if any parents were getting involved. If they didn't, I'd just judge from afar.

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?

Nah, doesn't bother me. I probably don't notice, especially if the movie's good.

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?

Old me would have said keep it, thank god I grew up, lol.

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?

I tell them I don't have cash on me, which is the honest truth. I do that occasionally irl, tell them that I only have a credit card.

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?

Hah, no, I actually wash them. Especially after the months I spent working in the back room of a supermarket, sorting disgusting beer and soda bottles; I learned all about hygiene then.

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?

Hide. I can be really good at that 😀

1. You're wearing a beautiful fur jacket...suddenly, three people wearing PETA shirts approach you. They loudly condemn your choice of apparel, then throw red paint on it. What is your reaction?

I would say 'This is fake fur!' (As it would be, I would never wear real fur).

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?

I don't like confrontation so I probably wouldn't say anything.

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?

I would probably look for a member of staff that works there and ask them to take it out, otherwise I would probably lift it out.

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?

I don't have a significant other but when I did (a year ago) I didn't lie at all.

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?

As a petite woman I wouldn't intervene because I probably couldn't do much. If it was serious like physical bullying I would probably alert someone in the area.

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?

I would probably move or try to block the light out because I am too shy to confront them.

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?

No I would probably seal it back up and send it back.

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?

I would probably give them some change.

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?

Not really I just wash my hands and get out.

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?

I would try to avoid her as best as I can. If not I would probably say something polite.

1. You're wearing a beautiful fur jacket...suddenly, three people wearing PETA shirts approach you. They loudly condemn your choice of apparel, then throw red paint on it. What is your reaction?
Never in a million years would I ever wear fur......real or fake (& certainly not real). 😕

2. You're at the market, in the "10 items or less" line. The person ahead of you has at least triple that. Do you say something or not?
My missus would probably say something before me, but I can look pretty scarey & can normally get away with a good glare......

3. You need to wash your clothes at a busy laundromat. You notice that one machine has finished it's cycle, but someone has left their items inside. You wait 10-25 minutes, but the person still isn't there. Do you continue to wait, or remove the stuff?
Never used a Laundromat....don't even know where there is one around here....?

4. How many times have you lied to your significant other in the last three months?
As far as I can remember zero as it's not good for my health 😉

5. You're in a park and notice that two children are bullying another. Do you step in, or turn away?
Sadly, as a middle aged bloke, if I was to approach any kids in a park I would probably be set apon by their parents or reported to the police...just wouldn't risk it!

6. While watching a film at the theater, the person next to you turns their phone on...bright screen and all. Do you move or tell them to turn it off?
Again, my Missus would probably get in their face first, but I would have to say something. Anyway, why pay all that money to watch a film if you're not interested in watching it? 😡

7. An envelope arrives in your mailbox, but its got the wrong address and name. The back flap is partially open, so you take a peek and see a $200 gift card...plus a birthday card. Do you keep it or not?
No way would I keep it. Anyhoo I know our postie so I would just give it back to him the next day (or pop round & deliver it myself if its close)

8. A homeless person outside a convenience store approaches you, saying they need money for food. Do you give them some cash, buy them some snacks inside, or ignore them?
Not sure what I would do in that situation. We don't get many homeless people around here (Either that or I don't frequent where they are?) 😵

9. In a public restroom, do you make a big show of washing your hands only when others are around?
Wash them the same as I would anywhere else.....no more, no less.

10. Your neighbour was recently divorced, and terribly lonely. She seems to pop up whenever you leave your house, desperate to chat about something. She's driving you crazy. How do you handle this situation?
Think my Missus would soon scare them away if they latched onto me. She knows all the neighbours better than I do so they would much more likely want to talk to her rather than me anyway.

1. I would definitely not wear fur, but if I had a leather jacket and someone did that they might just regret their action very quickly.

2. I wouldn't say anything, I couldn't really be bothered by stuff like that. the exception is if someone else in the line was annoyed I might let the person with lots of items know that they should let the other people go first at least.

3. I would wait, I'm not touching somebody else's underwear, even if they're clean!

4. I don't have an SO lol.

5. I would step in.

6. I would tell them to shut it off.

7. I'd give it back. I've found wallets in the streets before and stuff like that, I always make a point to return it to the owner without taking any of their money.

8. At the moment I wouldn't be able to give them anything because I'm royally broke. But I'll chat them up, not just ignore them. When I had more money I regularly gave money to the homeless. I try not to force food on them (if I have money, if I don't then sometimes I will offer to buy them something with my debit, but I'd rather just give money). I find it can be degrading to police what a homeless person should and should not do with the money we give. People love to treat poor people like they should just be grateful for the peanuts we give them, but I just find that awful. As someone who has been completely broke, I know what it is to get judged for it. I once got criticized for buying coffee with the little spare money that I had, as though poor people are not allowed to enjoy anything in life just because we're broke. And I know sometimes the money goes towards drugs and booze, but I can't blame the addicts when there's barely any services for them. I went a big on a tangent here, but I get very annoyed at how some of the homeless people get treated.

9. Ew! I'm a religious hand washer, I find it gross when people don't wash their hands. Even worst when it's in a public washroom.

10. The truth is I wouldn't have the time to chat even if I wanted to. When I leave my house it's because I need to get somewhere asap! So I would just make a quick exist saying that I must get to work.
