There is nothing wrong with being weird. When people tell you that you're weird...you should take it as a compliment. Seriously. Weird people are awesome. Also, who determines what's normal anyway? When I use the word "normal" or if I say that someone isn't behaving in a "normal" way, I'm usually referring to their state of mental health. For example, throwing knives at Costco customers is not normal. Um, perhaps that was a bad example.
My point is, you should embrace being "weird" or different, even if people call you those things in a rude way, you should smile and say "Thanks". I used to say that all the time, and I didn't mean it, but after awhile...I started too. Now when someone tells me I'm weird or strange, I'm being genuine when I thank them.
I mean think about it...who the hell wants to be average and boring? I don't believe that anyone is, to tell you the truth. Everyone is a little weird, in some way. We all have our quirks and idiosyncrasies, some of us just have more than others 😉.
