The latest Terminator movie shows "Pop," Sarah's bodyguard T-800 as a middle aged (or older) man, and there is a scene where the flesh is burned off of his right arm and later regenerates. So, here is the question. Wouldn't Terminators, in order to maintain their living tissue exterior, be required to eat and drink? "Terminator-Genisys" is the first time that we have seen one of these things being around for an extended time, so it wouldn't really have been an issue up until now, but, assuming that the franchise continues (still possible, despite rather disappointing reviews and box office sales) wouldn't it make sense to address the issue at some point? (There was a scene in the TV series where Cameron ate a potato chip, by the way)
