FOX needs to be applauded for its brilliant SciFi shows and the money it puts into them... man I dont think ive ever disagreed with someone so much in one day.
Man, Silum, you don't like me much do you?
FOX does have good shows, yes, but they cancel a lot of them. Which sucks.

Well, apparently it was fairly common knowledge on the internet, but I just discovered it a little while ago. God, I hate cliffhangers!

It may have been cliffhanger'y but it was sublimy complex and thought provoking that it left me feeling satisfied.
Cancelled? Man, that sucks. I only started watching it about two weeks ago. I don't want it to end; why do so many good shows end so quickly? Darn.

^ Because the "good" ones, to us Buffy-lovers, are the ones that make us think and have some depth. The rest of the world doesn't want to THINK about their entertainment, they want to be FED their entertainment. And fart jokes, don't forget the fart jokes.

Edmund Blackadder disagrees: Thats a wild and ridiculous generalisation

She asked a question. I gave my opinion. An opinion based on watching lots of really good, insightful shows get dumped for lack of viewership while "reality" shows and really shallow, stupid things get dozens of seasons. So sorry if it offended you or something. :rolleyes2

ANYway, to stay on topic, I'm sorry to see T:SCC go (though I sort of understand why--the plotline got incredibly complicated and they wandered off in weird directions sometimes), and I hope someone else will pick it up so we can see where they planned to go with it.

a) Her question was more rhetorical
b) Your answer was the typical arrogant "its because we're smarter than everybody else".

Lots of intelligent shows manage to survive around the world.

Just because a TV show doesn't get the viewers doesn't mean that its because people like to be "FED" their entertainment.

If ever an a show was going to get a more 'refined' audience, it was going to be on Friday night.

I'm wondering if the show didn't actually turn off a certain percentage of truly hardcore James Cameron Terminator purists. Also, it was a little slow moving for people who just wanted Terminator action/adventure. And it got kind of bogged down a bit in the middle of the second season with all the Jesse/Riley stuff.

I think it ended at its creative peak. The last couple of eps were outstanding. I want more. I liked the John Henry storyline, the religious elements they worked in...the Weaverbot and her story got more compelling as things went on...

I think that it ended very well for a SEASON finale, but not for the end of the entire series, especially a series that is supposed to take place between T2 and T3. Unless the tv series is supposed to be a sort of alternate reality like the "Highlander" series was to the first 3 movies, they've left it with a paradox that prevents T3 and the upcoming T4 from possibly ever happening.

Oh, it's bad news. I've planned to buy season 1 and watch it, but then season 2 got cancelled. I'm gonna miss Summer Glau bot. 🙁 Never mind, I hope they would sign Summer Glau to play Dollhouse S2, lol.

thats a shame, but I am not suprised. it seemed to start of pretty good but then got a bit dreery and didnt always make sense.
