No, nothing to do with the Rush song.. this here website is "a face-to-camera portrait, the image is split into a left and a right section, then one side is horizontally flipped.
These images are recombined to create two separate and symmetrical identities of the subject." It is actually interesting looking at some of the symmetrical faces compared to the originals.

If they look the same, then they are symmetrical to begin with, neither left nor right side differ that much. It's really freaky. I wish they would have show how the person really looks.
